It's hard to say.Is she talking about 26 not 16 , arrests made yesterday by the Mapke Grove PD? Protesters were outside of a suites place where ICE are staying and property damage and escalating violence changed the situation, so police rightly stepped in?

Maple Grove hotel protests lead to arrest, charges for 26 people involved
The Maple Grove Police Department says 26 people have been arrested following a protest outside the SpringHill Suites where federal agents were believed to be staying.www.fox9.com
I somehow caught these protests on YouTube live streams two nights in a row. They seemed more "rag tag", more like"disturbing the peace". They were making noise and banging things. It was a "late night" crowd, if you know what I mean.....
It was in Maple Grove, not Minneapolis.
It would not be my idea of an effective protest. All an agent had to do, if they were staying in the hotel, was put on ear plugs to block them out. And the crowd size was not impressive enough to have an impact. Effective protests rely on larger crowds.
Their noise would have bothered guests who were not armed with ear plugs.
I would not be surprised if that is why they were arrested.
My hunch is the Maple Grove protesters will have minor charges filed against them.
