Identified! MN - Boomington, UID man at Mall of America, Feb'03 - Sean Rush

DoeNet seems to having success for the past few days with UIDs. On the 20th 593UFGA was ID'D and yesterday two John Does were ID'D. Way to go LE! Keep up the good work with your cases!

Wow! I can't believe this. He disappeared from St Paul, MN 2/17/03, and this unidentified man found two days later not that far away!? I guess no one was looking for him really? Seems it should have been solved quickly. I wonder if he had family in MN or why this took so long. The only explanation I can think of is that his family maybe felt he "ran away" rather than committed suicide, and so didn't check further.

How sad that this young man is from St. Paul, practically next door to Bloomington, the location of the Mall of America.

His family reported him missing right away. Why did it take so long to make this connection?

Actually, he was not reported missing for three weeks. His parents did not live in Minnesota so they did not see the press coverage or sketches of the UID from the Mall of America for quite some time.
