I just learned of this case. Highly unusual. I'm curious....does anyone know of a map that shows where his car was found?
Any updates on this case?

I haven't been able to find any updates. It looks to me like the FBI still considers Brandon to be a crime victim as they still have him listed under VICAP - Violent Criminal Apprehension Program. I don't think they would have him listed that way if they believed he had just fallen in the river and drowned, JMO.

Agreed. The "oh ****", in that scenario, may refer to a person he saw approaching then.

I've always wondered if someone was following him. Maybe he took that back road to try to lose them, and the "oh ****" was when they surprised him. Jmo
Possibly yes. Although surely he'd have mentioned something to his parents though?
Someone on Reddit asked something incredibly cryptic that never got explained:
"If anyone is familiar with this case or area and understands the significance between 'tiger' and also a 'dog' (most likely seperate terms) involving Brandon Swanson please contact me."
Anyone know what this could be about??

I wish my memory was better, but I do remember what you're saying, and I think I remember another post somewhere about the "tiger" and "dog" having to do with some sort of team or group or gang? Does anyone else remember this?
Although I think the mascot angle is much more likely, this discussion got me thinking and I found this site pretty interesting >> http://www.wildcatsanctuary.org/mn-laws/
Intriguing... Someone else mentioned the possibility of an escaped tiger finding Brandon.
Although of course the mascot thing makes the most sense. His school was on Tiger Street.

I think if anyone had exotic animals in that area, people would know
I remember his mother commenting on Brandon being a good debater. Maybe there was an altercation with someone at that party that night. It does seem like someone would have spoken up by now though. I can't believe they found nothing during the searches. If an animal predator, they would have found at least some shreds of clothing, IMO. I'm thinking now someone showed up and he was taken from the area, nothing left behind, no trace, no clues. I also have always wondered if methamphetamines could have played a part. Maybe just experimenting, but they cause really strange hallucinations, etc. And if there were illegal drugs at the party, could be a reason for everyone to keep quiet. Jmo
Hi, do you happen to know if Brandon was on any debate teams or mock trial teams? Josh Guimond, missing from St Johns in Collegeville, MN was captain of the mock trial team.
