PRESS RELEASE: MISSING PERSONS INVESTIGATION

The Leech Lake Tribal Police Department and Itasca County Sheriffs Office are requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing person FRANK SHERMAN Jr. Frank last had contact with family on 7/23/2018. Frank frequents the Cass Lake, MN, area and the Ball Club/Deer River, MN, area.

Frank was last seen wearing a tank top shirt, blue jeans, white shoes, and a gray hat. Frank is also approximately 6 feet tall, 185-200 lbs, and is a Native American male.

He was just released from jail on July 16, 2018 for violating a restraining order. He was sentenced to 35 days in jail w/credit for time served of 35 days.

Missing Deer River Man Found Dead

A Deer River man who was missing for nearly a month has been found dead, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
