Interesting discussion as to there is not/questioning of a documentation of which version was given to and see by Chauvin.

MOO this is something that should be archived and surprised isn't done. For many many years I would have thought expected. Heck, even as a lay person who has no training, I put up on threads our timeline, and designated it as a specific version with the version number, and the date that I shared it. (e.g. v.1-04042021 that was done at the header for the last timeline on WS)

I do hope that LE all over learn and change policies for documentation as is so easy to do. Heck, in the early 80's, I had to sign on any document or training or SOP that I had.

i think there will and should be some objections on the use of force as this will become cumulative and piling on.

#DerekChauvinTrial - Judge goes on the record and says he has found "no juror misconduct".

In addition to police chief Arradondo testifying today, Sgt. Yang with the Crisis Intervention Team will testify about that training and Chauvin did take that training.

Yes, over the weekend it was posted in Sidebar threads' BCA interview for Lane that differed from what Zimmerman testified to.

We shall wait.. and let it unravel.

Wish more in limines prior to start of trial were done as hate at this time as jurors may think delay is about them still being discussed iykwim

Nelson is feeling the pressure of all these officers basically saying this was wrong!

Wow..ER resident gets Floyd at HCMC.....working holiday and probably never expected to be in court. Young Dr.

these are sort of stupid questions by state...know if it was GF..know about videos...this is an ER doc

ER was prepped in advance. To me, that shows the professionals were in communication, following protocols, to provide the best aid they could - unlike someone else.

#DerekChauvinTrial - First witness today for the state is the ER physician that pronounced #GeorgeFloyd dead at the hospital. Dr. Langenfeld.

A lot of this testimony feels cumulative since the paramedics both testified that he was already dead when they arrived. A lot of this testimony seems repetitive but I’m sure it’s relevant for when the medical experts testify. Still I wonder if they could’ve streamlined this stuff....

ETA - Commentators made a good point - this witness said essentially there was no heads up of drug use/intoxication. And he spent all this time and didn’t note a drug overdose on his own observations...

actually this is pretty interesting..I think the point of his being in PEA (or whatever) indicates there was a slight hope and most importantly it is normally symptomatic of oxygen deprivation which supports state case. It would have been different had it been a heart attack. Amazing to me that no paramedic mentioned potential drug overdose?

Wonder if they're using it as almost as 'recap' wk 1 testimony for the jury before moving on this week.

Good point. It also seems to be a pre-bolster to upcoming ME report.

I know this Doc would rather be back up north in Grand Rapids but I wish he would at least look to the jury once in a while.

I think it's important to reiterate to the jury that every minute was crucial in saving Floyd's life, and that if CPR had been started three or four minutes earlier by the officers, his life could have been saved.

He said that whilst standard protocol, use of epinephrine and sodium bicarbonate can be "somewhat controversial" didn't he? I guess in medical journals there's likely to be studies on it's effectiveness like most medical practices. Wonder if defence is going to jump on those comments.

i am amazed that at HCMC drug OD was not considered more by these professionals. They get gunshots and OD cases everyday non stop. So much important info seems to not have been transmitted to the ambulance crew...again that should have been the job of Chauvin and all the officers there. Someone should have said he had his airways blocked for a long time.
