Officers on front lines, horses behind. Tried to see the little mare but camera didn’t focus long enough on them.
Dozens of Houston police officers swarmed an intersection blocked by protesters in downtown Houston.

Thanks for posting it. There was no link in the post when I asked for it.
It was in my previous post. I saw it on the livestream but didn't post the link again because the scene had changed.

Thanks for posting. It appears Houston's got their act together. Jmo

Eta... "act together" I mean less violent, whoever posted about folks moving for the horses, appears to be correct. Those big gentle giants just slowly moved into a crowd and the protesters calmly moved back.

His arrest does not fix the broken system. It’s just a small piece. These are people that fear for their lives on a daily basis. I will hold compassion for them and listen to their pain. I will fight for them. I hope more white people will join me.
You will fight for them how exactly?

You will fight for them how exactly?

By recognizing my privilege, by hearing their pain and by continuing to go to my local BLM protests. I’ve also done a lot of political activism and volunteer work that I whole heartedly believe will bring everyone economic justice.

The stupidity is spreading everywhere. Two Walmarts and a Target where I live closed because of threats and now there's been an officer involved shooting. Going to be a long weekend

Broad is the main street, I've walked this in many peaceful protest.

Protests over George Floyd’s death turn violent in downtown Richmond

Demonstrators could be seen marching down Broad Street chanting “no justice, no peace,” “black lives matter” and “George Floyd.”

NBC12′s Karina Bolster reports protests started out peaceful but demonstrators have started to get rowdy - spray painting and knocking over barricades. A Wells Fargo Bank window was also broken at the intersection of Grace and Second Street.

A dumpster and a police cruiser were also set on fire near the Richmond Police Department headquarters.

A protester also physically touched an NBC12 photojournalist and slapped the camera out of his hands. Bolster said she was struck in the back of the head by a protester with a water bottle and her phone was knocked out of her hand.

I would imagine the issues are devastation, family safety as well as protection of any assets she has. There will be a civil lawsuit coming the murderer's way and one that will probably be easily won. They have 2 houses and other assets I am sure. I can only imagine the pain she is feeling knowing that someone she lived with was such a monster.

Sage words spoken. Thanks are due to this chief.

On Thursday, David Roddy, the Chattanooga Police Department Police Chief posted on Twitter the following:

"There is no need to see more video. There no need to wait to see how “it plays out”. There is no need to put a knee on someone’s neck for NINE minutes. There IS a need to DO something. If you wear a badge and you don’t have an issue with this...turn it in."

That tweet quickly went viral. It currently has over 610,000 likes and close to 150,000 retweets.

From the Ohio Governor:

Dewine called the death of Floyd "horrific" and expressed regret in not addressing the issue during his recent COVID-19 briefing.

The governor also urged protesters to do so peacefully, saying he understands why they are voicing their frustrations, but said violence should not be fought by using more violence.

"“Protests expressing outrage are not only understandable, but they are appropriate. Ohioans should speak out against wrong-doing ... Ohioans should speak out in unity to end injustice,” DeWine said.

Well dang, that was quick!
If she's a victim of ongoing domestic abuse, she's got the perfect opportunity to kick him out, keep him out and prevent the kids from getting anywhere near him. The expression on his face during those 8 horrific minutes show he is a man who demands to be in control by golly and his victim can beg all he wants and it won't change anything. Past reports of complaints about his misconduct at work increases the probability he was likely just as ruthlessly controlling at home.
