DR complained that the Fox 9 interview comment was taken out of context/spliced and diced. Who knows.
The famous quote by DR---
Trish Van Pilsum: "Why would you go to bed when a kid had just
disappeared."
The Man: "I wanted to get some sleep . I wasn't going to waste my
time."
Oh he's definitely a knucklehead but he didn't do it.
The euphemism could be #1 or #2 or both. "in code" could mean both or either/or. As for the driver of the "proven" tracks...they never did identify him....at least as far as we know...his tracks were never publicly identified until 'Kevin' came forward. Think beyond.
When you say, "Think beyond," do you mean that you think you have special insider information that you're waiting for me to grasp, or...?
When I ask how they ruled out the driver of the "proven" vehicle(which I put in quotes because I think it's even more dubious than I think Kevin's story is), I'm talking about the guy who called the cops in 2004(2005?) and said he was that vehicle's driver, and that he'd been a college student driving around(right by someone's private property?) looking for things to sketch.
Did the cops just say, "Well! That clears things right up," or did they investigate this man and and his story like they should have?
"In code" definitely could mean either/or, and that they're afraid of revealing which...it looks(to me at least) they almost have to be thinking it's one or the other of those two possibilities(either there was another vehicle on site, or else, the perp was the only man who could arrive and leave on foot - D.R.).
I think it was another car. D.R. does have familiarity and physical fitness on his side - but, he doesn't have a husky build, and I just don't see why he'd do it(especially at such a stupidly obvious time and location).
That said, I trust him about as much as I trust Kevin...what the heck is a "medical cop," and why would anyone who is one identify himself as such to a civilian who's asking him questions? And why did Kevin's story change?
I don't suspect Kevin of abducting Jacob in any way/shape/form, but his story seems to me to have, "I'm a fabricated witness," stamped all over it(either that, or, "I feel like I have to come up with some wild story, since I was there.")
1. kevin exists, Joy met with him and lots of people know his name.
2. The art student who was sketching said it was he who was there within days--- that is in Oct 1989, not 2004
Emeraldine--- Eloc has written a book. It Can't Happen Here. It is on Amazon and has lots and lots of facts with documentation. It would really help with the timeline and lots of the players in this case.
I know Kevin exists...I just don't know what to think about him or his story.
The art student was there in 1989, but I think he didn't call the cops to say so until 2004.
It would help, but it's not in my budget right now. I'd still like to participate in the discussion, though.
If you know who did do it, please tell.
This could be incorrect, but:

From this page:
'One lead that authorities had hoped would pan out was a witness reporting having seen a car nearby where the abduction took place on the day that Jacob was taken, which quickly became the focus of the investigation. However, in 2004, more than 10 years after Jacob’s disappearance, the car was identified after the owner came forward to police when he learnt that they were looking for his vehicle. The owner was questioned and subsequently cleared of any involvement of Jacob’s abduction. The man turned out to have been a college student at the time who was driving around the area looking for things to sketch. Authorities now state that they believe Jacob’s abductor was on foot.'
I wonder how they cleared that man?
The small red car was the art student - or, at least, he told LE he thought it was him. I don't think the information about various cars in the area was released right away...maybe someone else was identified at that time?
Of course, there was also a maroon car, according to what I've heard over the years...I wonder if THAT driver is identified yet(I've found nothing on it).
What a mess. I get the impression sometimes that the perp could only have materialized from thin air.
