I seriously doubt any 911 operator would advise her to go outside and investigate the screams herself.

I'm wondering what she was doing outside after making the 911 call. If she heard screaming, why would she leave the safety of her home---in her nightgown, no less. She wasn't armed so what was her intention? I'm thinking the media reporting on this incident must be off.

I wouldn't call Justine's family, 'the public', would you? They have lost a fiance and a daughter and have had no info about that. I am not sure what your 'woulda, shoulda, coulda' means? Unless it means she is dead so her family is wasting their time expecting some information.

Because the family lives in another country there are no doubt procedure protocols police follow.

Wasn't she already out there when she made the call??? Moo

I have the very same questions. There is no way a 911 operator would tell someone to leave the safety of their home. The entire point of contacting police is so they will investigate.

Police have not confirmed who made the call nor where they were when they made the call.

Maybe she wanted to help the girl she heard being assaulted. As an Australian myself I can say that I and many people I know would not wait inside to report an assault. I would defiantly be out there making my presence known hoping to scare the perp and help the victim. All moo of course.

Her fiance does not live in another country.

If she did that, then where is the person who was being assaulted?

And we would not have to worry about being killed by police. Australians just cannot believe this.

No official police statement yet, but by all MSM reports it has said it was her. Not holding my breathe for any police statements anytime soon either. I understand the need to await all the facts but let's be honest, if this was not a police officer that shot this woman we wouldn't be waiting for a police statement, it would be MSM we would be going by. So while it's all well and good to hold out placing blame, I will be going by the rules of all threads here that MSM is a source to discuss what has happened. MOO

Without a weapon? How would you stop an assault? You wouldn't be afraid of being assaulted too? You're a brave woman.

Because police haven't confirmed. They also haven't confirmed she was wearing pajamas but it does make for colorful headlines if the goal is to immediately throw shade on police.

Can you confirm that the police didn't confirm any of this with the media?

Because every credible local, national and global news agency is reporting that LE shot JA after responding to her 911 call to report a possible assault in progress in the alley behind her home.

If someone else called 911, what is LE's motive for allowing every news agency in the world to continue to report it wrong?
They have the 911 recordings, do you think the reason they aren't releasing them is because it's not JA on the call?

Do you suspect some other as of yet unidentified woman called 911 and JA was the one assaulting someone in the alley behind her home?
I'm just trying to understand where your sleuthing is going, I'm very curious as to why you don't believe what the media is reporting and also why do you think LE would want to keep the truth hidden?

What's your alternative scenario to the narrative we are getting from the media?
I'm also curious how her wearing pajamas "throws shade on the police"?

TIA

All the main stream media have reported is that the boyfriend's son said she made the call. If you want to believe it, that's okay but I prefer to wait for police statements of facts rather than rely on someone who clearly blames police without knowing the facts.

It is a different world. Would you ever think that if you called the police you would end up being shot or if you were pulled over for a broken tail light that you could end up dead? Unbelievable to the rest of the civilised world.

So you doubt that she made the call? Why? Are you intimating that someone made the call about her?

If someone is screaming in an alley, dontcha think other neighbors would hear it?

Police can't control what the media reports or what the son and his father say to the media that the media repeats. But the Minneapolis police chief and Mayor have both made it very clear that an investigation is underway and they won't comment until they know more.
