the same news coverage around 5pm today showed someone going to his family's home and some comments to the effect that this is so "unfortunate" and we will just have to wait to find out that just a terrible mistake etc. so he is talking to some people that is for sure. Just getting his story in order. Sorry but the coverage I have seen so far makes me have some pretty unsympathic feelings for Mr. Noor.

Screw that.. She's not on trial or done anything wrong.. Check him for drugs and signs of hating women via social media acquaintances etc

The only help the LEO cams would have been on this case was the audio.... their convo and any words muttered just prior to and after the shooting. They would not have captured the shooting imo.

Activating LE worn cams when a gun is removed is too late to capture what is usually the most important evidence imo. One way though is for cams to be activated when LE are dispatched to a call.

And so it begins, blame the victim.

Personally, I don’t think asking questions alone is blaming the victim. I think people here are trying to make sense out of this whole crazy thing. I believe as humans we don’t want to think that this officer just shot her for no reason at all. I suspect he had a reason right or wrong. That does not make it a valid reason or indicate that he is somehow not guilty. Now if you’re talking about the officer’s lawyer IMO he is looking for any reason that might help his client.

Will there also be tests done on the one responsible for ending Justine's life.

i think what makes the so bad for me beside the fact is is close to home is in many of the other officer initiated shootings at least the victim was in the act of doing something they should not have..been somewhere they should not have been etc. In this case none of that and honestly no possible stretch of my imagination can bring me to a place where these 2 officers with guns should have been scared of one female in her pjs. The request about tor for Ambien gives you a real insight to what we are going to be faced with here. Lets just say she took a good solid dose of Ambien that night...lets just say the sounds she heard were hallucinations and no one was out there....and she seemed confused etc. as can happen with sleep aids especially if combined with a drink or two....so what? Still no excuse here. I think Harrity has already said enough in his four hour interview that Noor's attorney knows he will be charged. They have held firm today that Noor will not be talking. I think the big question mark left is if the county attorney Freeman will charge him...and to do so he has to feel that he has enough evidence and hopefully Harrity's statements will be enough.

yep wonder what drugs are in his system...do you think it was required that they test him that night? I have heard zero about that night...when an officer kills someone do they just do home? It almost seems like he...I mean he is not talking so what happened that night I wonder.

5 days have past, lots of things drugs/alcohol will not show.

but I would think it would be standard to test him right away that night...he killed someone and the circumstances right then looked strange...and then he won't talk...did he also have a special right to not be tested. For all we know he could have been drinking that day or taking something.

no kidding...her finance was out of town...might she have taken an ambien...sure...lets just say it made her a bit out of it and maybe acting strange but so what. Cops on night beats probably are faced with people that have taken all sorts of things.
I totally agree. I might could understand if she had shot the police officer while under the influence of Ambien but how is it relative to this case since she called 911 twice to report a possible sexual assault and then walked up to the driver's door and was speaking to the officer on the driver's side and was immediately shot by the officer on the passenger's side?

I have wondered if his service weapon is still in his possession.

from what I am gathering this case hangs on Harrity...if he gives them enough they can charge...I mean he was right there but I guess his perception of the situation could be very diffierent than trigger happy Noor with the gun out in his lap?

Hi popsicle, I agree that audio would be tremendous evidence in this case. I think that Noor had to have turned toward the driver's side and leaned forward in order to shoot without injuring his partner. In that case, video should have picked up her at the driver's window and getting shot. I'm also very curious if the driver's window was already down or did the driver put the window down as she approached or after she was standing at the window. If he put it down as she approached, then they were not startled by her approach to the car. JMO

Yes, that and I wonder if his own partner was concerned for his own safety and took the weapon from him. If it was me who had a weapon fired inches from my chest or head with no warning I would be concerned that my partner had totally lost his mind. JMO

Very good point.

And if they were startled by her appearance at the window, why did the partner not get out of the car, move around the car and her to where he could better assess what was going on?

I'm really having a problem with understanding why a police cruiser would be approaching a possible sexual assault scene and the possibility that a rapist would be confronting them with a possible weapon and the officers had the presence of mind to make sure the flashing cruiser lights and the headlights were off but did not have the thought to turn their body cams on..... Simply does not make sense to me. His partner was stunned and did not pull his weapon; that says to me that he did not feel threatened. JMO

I have to also wonder how much pressure he is getting from supervision and other police officers. JMO

Yes I am speaking of the officer's lawyer. I believe he will blame the victim, Justine for getting shot.
