Daily Telegraph is Murdoch too ;) That said it's not impossible for them to sometimes write something purely factual especially in articles that are basically just quotes or rehashed media statements.

Best Aus media is the ABC and the SBS, with Fairfax sites (The Age and SMH) also okay.

But the SMH in its balance to fairness, we have to read the Seth Efrican Piers Akkerman and that horrid Miranda Devine.

r

Are they? Well they have found their true home. I have not seen the Tellie for years. They did not have any op eds last time I read it. They had horoscopes after the few pages of news and sports.

Could you please post a link to the MSM sources you mention regarding Noors previous incidents prior to this shooting, because i can't find anything regarding those MSM sources you posted up. TIA.
And i believe any MSM articles are ok. to post on WS's in reference to cases sleuthed aren't they?

Not sure if this is something you are referring to:

Department records indicate he had three complaints filed against him, the details of which are not public. One was closed without any disciplinary action and two are still open.

I know the request is for links but when this first went down I found on line the official complaint filed July 14 2017 in the Teresa Graham vs Noor case. Clearly having a federal lawsuit filed against you as a police officer may give a hint as to his mindset that night...just speculation. I am not giving that lawsuit much credence based on some reading on Ms Graham and the story etc. however excessive force was used as alleged in the complaint so who knows? Things are quiet here in MSP today with no new news other than another officer involved shooting in Willmar,Mn. but the news so far indicates that this one probably had a cause. Bits and pieces come out about officer Noor's personal life and none can be substantiated but assume eventually we will get a better picture of him.

here is a report from Australian paper of some sort http://www.courthousenews.com/australia-demands-answers-u-s-police-killing

from the reports I have read here I think that this covers pretty well what went down with that complaint which was escalated to Federal Court July 14...first was filed May 25 2017. The office Mn. document seems to have been taken down...I saw it in the beginning but can't find it now..maybe someone can.

Thankyou for posting that up, but my post was in reference to the two MSM links i posted with some info. on Noors previous incidents upthread. It seems a couple of posters didn't think the links were a source of good information, so i was requesting links from the MSM sources they recommended, because i couldn't find them online with the relevent info. regarding Noor.

That is pretty much what was in the MSM articles i posted up earlier about the complaint about Noor and the plaintiff TG “violently and forcibly detained her” and “transported her to a hospital against will.”
So the MSM articles about that incident are all fairly consistent in what they are saying about that. I don't know about any of the outcome of that litigation by the plaintiff because i don't even know if that case against Noor has been decided yet? Haven't seen anything to say it has.

I can't get the cnn but clearly he has the lawsuit filed against him...he will be fired but the real question is pressing charges. And remember all this time he is getting paid and I imagine the lawyer is provided by his union. If he has a story to tell can't wait to hear it. Meanwhile local news here is reporting that the Somali community is in turmoil and given that the last two officers involved in something like this were not held accountable (one by police other by jury) if Mr. Noor is it will be said it is because of his ethnicity. Just my opinion based on local news.

no it was just filed in federal court...it is OPEN and not at all decided and his record will be a factor in a court case if one happens.

Thanks for clarifying. I hadn't heard the info. about the Somali community, but i really wish they wouldn't make it about ethnicity, but the actual facts about why this happened. I agree, & can't wait to hear his story either.

Again, thanks for the clarification. I didn't think it had been decided yet.

you know from what I read he is in hiding of course but free to go anywhere...a flight risk??? I would say he sure is. Maybe they are watching him...I guess they must be but if this was you or I we would be under arrest and in jail pending trial...probably no bond either.

I read that the Somalian American Police Association isn't standing behind this guy. The Somalian community should think about that before coming to the conclusion that if he's held accountable, it's because of his ethnicity.

I'm in agreement that race shouldn't be brought into this. He is free to give his side of the story, which he has chosen not to do. When/if it goes to trial, then the jury/judge will decide guilt or innocence.
I am usually of the belief that an officer will not just shoot a person for no reason. With our current history, they have to know they are more likely than ever to be held accountable. Was he just that nervous, jittery, on edge? If yes, then he shouldn't have been a cop. I'd really like to hear more of what his partner has said.
When you are looking for a criminal or a victim in an alley, a woman in pj's shouldn't have looked like a threat.
I eager to hear these 2 cops accounts
Just MOO

your sleuthing skills are far better than mine..yes filed July 14th and you can be sure he knew about this. I may revise me opinion above if this is not escalating tensions more between African Americans and Somalis (they are very separate here) and whites who are not happy with the Somali migration here in Minnesota...at minimum none of his helps...especially as Hodges really rolled him out in south Minneapolis!! Had a party which I don't think is standard for every officer.
