Yes, i think you're right and there was more than one issued.

You can believe what you want but we value people here that are verified because they speak from a professional or Insider POV.
People been looking for this for days! Good job!
I am not a lawyer, but this looks like a hot mess. Is this even a warrant to search her home?
Something about it just doesn't feel right. PrairieWind?
I am going on about her house being searched, because it was not necessary. I am not sure who you are speaking about who is a verified attorney. I prefer to believe a law professor.
Jennifer is outraged by the search...long ago I mentioned the post by verified attorney...one can be outaged but the important things to discuss is proper protocol which was followed here...in my opinion the more they search...test etc. the better and as I have said before until Don Damond or her father come forward and want to question any of this I think the investigation is probably pretty routine.
So are we just ignoring the law professors opinion that there was no probable cause for the warrant?
What if?
Suppose she had a child in the home. Suppose there was an animal in the home. The search warrant was executed to cover their azz. I can't imagine LE not going to the home of a person that had been killed in the close proximity of their home and not checking their home. What if they didn't and then the home was burgled? Guess that would have been LE fault.
I would like to know his reason for his opinion though? Wish he would elaborate on it.
What does Mr. Damond's attorney say about it i wonder?
Search warrants and their scope and execution probably constitute an entire semester in law school and clearly cases have been won or lost based on them...if not done properly much critical evidence can be thrown out in a court case. I am sure the "law professor" knows all of the ins and outs of warrants.....and since opinions are fine on a forum like this his/her view is welcome and gives another perspective but honestly none of us really know what went down with the warrants...what was really found and how any of this may become relevant in any possible in an action against Noor.
Yeah the public only get little snippets of information from msm to go on, but we don't get all of the information to make a proper analysis IMO.
I assume right now as information is compiled the only first hand info is from Harrity...then they will have the tox etc. and results of the search warrants and interviews with others....and right now their concern is whether to charge him or not based on what they have. Per the rules on cams they should have turned those on the minute they got out of the car...did they? I have not heard that they did so there is a problem for sure. The biker supposedly was videoing the aftermath...assume they have that...so based on the way other cases have gone is the next step the MPD coming out and charging him? I read that no grand jury here just up to Freeman the county attorney.
was "sleuthing" around trying to see anything new on this case and honestly there is nothing...but just reading this summary which I believe is a nice simple summary of what went down in this quiet neighborhood on that night "It is unclear exactly why Damond left her house. Some reports have said investigators think she was trying to get the attention of officers to direct them to the right location, since they had driven too far along the alleyway. But we do know, from a search warrant, that investigators believe she slapped the back of the police SUV as she approached it, and that the driver, Harrity, said he was startled by a loud noise. It was Noor, in the passenger seat, who pulled the trigger, shooting across his partner and through the window, striking Damond in the abdomen."
It is really that simple...all reports indicate that frankly it was Harrity that was startled...I guess that is what prompted Noor to shoot and if the MPD can justify that I give up!!
BBM, Yes Harrity is the only other person who knows what actually happened. He is also not wanting to talk about it, as can probably be expected.
And i agree it is a process and we probably won't know much more until it is decided whether to charge Noor. However long that will take is anyone's guess, but i did read an msm article that stated this case would be expedited because of it involving Australia's response as well by the Govt. over there and Justine's family of course.
Maybe they will wait until after Justine's funeral service next month, and proceed further after that with any charges etc.?
