That was relatively fast---only about 12 hours of deliberation.

(And the defense thought a quick verdict would be a good thing---guess not)

I'm relieved. So relieved. Listening to the commentary over there duration of the trial I was leaning towards this verdict (vs. an acquittal) but sometimes I get blindsided by what jury's hear...or have determined they could do.

I bet my theory was right—that anyone who has that sort of great respect for law and order would be appalled, and eager to convict, once they heard the case.

Nice! Now, wait for the "talking heads" to make this a "race issue". Blah, blah...no, look at the evidence. I really liked the attempt to dismiss this case last year, for lack of findings.
