This is local (an hour away) so I saw it briefly in my facebook feed today but didn't really look at it much. I didn't realize it was a rented RV. Time to go read up some more.

They have found his body...no details yet. More to come. Thank God the family can have some closure now and the person responsible can be prosecuted.

I saw the story about the RV last night, and I did a search for missing people. I didn't know Kevin had a thread here, but I had a hunch it was him. Then I saw this pop up on WS.

There is an interesting comment on the FB page for Kevin. It sounds like there have been some rumors and stuff. So police may have their eyes on a few people. I doubt that the owner of the RV put Kevin there. If he had, I'm sure he would have taken the RV somewhere and disposed of the body. Most likely, he didn't knew Kevin was there.

Why do you think the owner of the RV told them not to look at the specific compartment though? Very strange. RIP Kevin.....feel so sorry for his kids and rest of his family

Who knows. Maybe the kids misconstrued what the guy said. Maybe they exaggerated it. Maybe the guy put the body there. Maybe one of the kids was supposed to dump the body in Kentucky while the others weren't around. I just don't think that someone would stuff a body in an RV and then rent it to some kids.

Kind of weird comment on the story about him on the Kare 11 news facebook page.

Rest in Peace young man.

I find it quite suspicious that the owner said not to look in the compartment.

When I read this the movie Hangover came to mind. Can you imagine his friends when he said there's a body in there? Seriously, guys at a bachelor party???? This is more bizarre then the one a couple weeks ago with the deep freezer in the closed down auto repair shop in LA.

I thought that, as well. Maybe I've been watching crime shows too much....
Or hanging out here at WS too often ?? :floorlaugh::blushing:

Sad for the deceased man's family, but at least they know where he is; if not what exactly happened.

What a gruesome find for the RV renters. :hills:

On the one hand it sounds suspicious, but on the other hand would you rent out an RV that you had stashed a body in with the compartment not even locked?

LE should take a look at the previous renters.
Also find it odd that the rental place didn't thoroughly go through all of the RV's compartments ????
What the heck ??

MOO

It doesn't sound like it was a rental place, it sounds like a private person who rents out his big RV.

If someone told me not to open something, I dang sure would. If the owner knew the body was there (which I am not saying he did) why even say anything about it? Why not get rid of the body? Very very weird.
