Who says "60% sure" about anything? I have to admit I am giving the side-eye to the roommate, big-time, but I assume if there was an tangible proof he was an accomplice he would have been charged.

I saw that also and then remembered that the defense was questioning him at that time. So I figured I would give it a pass. lol

The Prosecution did their questioning yesterday so today when they started it was the defense questioning the roommate. I have watched the defense make it seem like the witness isn't telling the truth. Coming from tweets it is not a very good picture.

I wish the reporter's would step up their tweeting!

The tipster who contacted police posted on a private Facebook page that a client of hers saw two men near Keller Lake between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. on the night Kira disappeared. The Facebook post also said that her client saw the two men carrying and struggling with something that looked like a rug.

Also, is there a reason the roommate doesn't get named? It seems like every trial is different, and I'm a relative noob at watching them.

I haven't seen his name yet, and I presume it is a he. Maybe they will print it. I was surprised they put a description of each of the juror's and what they did for employment.

I am going to try to submit a picture about why they are not having a camera in the courtroom. It will probably blow the margins though so be prepared.

Can you tell us your source on this? I can't find any news reports on MSM about it. Unless that is your opinion only - which is valid, but according to the terms of service, needs to be made clear.

I know the information coming from the tweets isn't much. I am not putting to much faith in what the tweets are saying simply because there isn't enough information being given.

This trial is not like the Chrisman trial where you had several tweeter's giving steady information coming from the courtroom.

The name of the room mate is M. R. Well known to those who have followed the case from the beginning. As a matter of fact, his name is mentioned today in an article about the trial in the Pioneer Press.

It was another full day of witness testimony in the second-degree murder trial of Jeffery Trevino, charged with killing his wife Kira Steger and dumping her body in the Mississippi River.

Friday morning, all eyes and ears in the courtroom were on the defense cross examination of Jeff and Kira's former roommate, Matthew Roff.
