You think something happened BEFORE she got home from dropping the kids off at kindergarten??

I hope the kindergarten has CCTV out of the front. Her partner says they dropped the kids off together.
"Kingsbury and the father of her children dropped their children off at daycare the morning of March 31, Williams said. She returned to her residence on Kerry Drive in Winona around 8:15 a.m. Her roommate reported last seeing her around 8:30 a.m."

The roommate and children's father are different people, according to this article. The roommate last saw her at 8:30pam.

Actually not, according to earlier discussion here.
They are one and the same - the article was apparently clumsily and incorrectly worded.

The van was backed in.

Community rallies around loved ones of Madeline Kingsbury

Friends and family members of missing mother-of-two Madeline Kingsbury have opened up about the desperate search to find her.
“She’s the person that everybody likes,” a friend of Ms Kingsbury who asked not to be identified told KIMT3 News.
“There’s nothing about her that you can hate or dislike. I’m honestly shocked by the amount of people she has touched in her life.”
The friend also told the network that it was extremely unusual for Ms Kingsbury not to answer her phone.
“The first red flag was is that the van was backed in, because she’s a terrible driver and anybody will tell you that.”

That's the first time I've seen it said, "he left for work at 10 AM"?

Thats what I was thinking. Ok, so he's saying he saw her at 8:30 a.m., and then, even though the house is small, approx 800 sq.ft, 2 bd 1 ba, he didn't see her before he left the house at 10 something?

Yes, correct. I understand that.
I'm from the UK. "Kindergarten" would mean pre-school daycare here.
School is school.
I see. Where Maddi is from, kindergarten means something else, so that’s why I commented. Preschool also means something and daycare is neither preschool nor kindergarten. Details and words matter, so just going for precision.

Police have stated they dropped the kids off together; that is not in controversy.

Be interesting to hear what and where his work is, and the usual hours he attends.

Sounds complex.

Good, it's nice to have that confirmed, as not much else has in this case. Very scant on details. But I do think LE is doing that on purpose and waiting patiently to catch its prey.

They refer to "the father" and "the roommate" separately it kinda made me feel they were different people.
Agreed. They also use "her partner" which is a silly term anyway. One would think they want to be clear in such circumstances.

My apologies. I clearly missed earlier clarification. I will look for it. It really sounded like the roommate told LE they saw Madeline at 8:30am before the roommate presumably left the house. If it were the children's father they are basing the 8:30 time on, why wouldn't they report she was last seen at 10am when he said he left the house.

I wonder if roommate could possibly the resident in the other half of the duplex.

I'd love to know if this was normal. Wouldn't she be expected at work by 8am?

Do I have this right? Anything else to add?

Perhaps she wasn't free to leave with the children, unaccompanied.

Thank you for this. I'm actually confusing myself and went back to start all over again but info is missing.
They both went together in 1 car to take the kids to daycare correct? ( makes sense) the van is spotted driving down (whatever, directions above) I thought the partner said he took her van? So her personal belongings are located in the van and her home is this correct?

I actually thought we might see dramatic movement today, based on the targeted search. I wondered if LE had a little bit more targeted information and, based on LE's very narrow window between last seen and not seen, whoever may have disappeared her didn't have a strategy IMO. Fast and sloppy.

LE has said they don't have any indications of her leaving the house, or something to that effect. But they aren't ripping her house apart, to my knowledge. They appear to be searching by air and foot in the direction her van went in. While carefully not identifying nor implicating the driver.

I want her found safe, I always want that. But if this is the same headline we've read before, this cold weather has the potential to preserve evidence. Not sure whether there's open water in the search area -- hoping not -- my hope, outside of a rescue, is for safety for searchers and a productive search.

Those babies need their mama... and her family needs answers.

I believe her personal items were found in the house, phone, purse and her jacket she had worn to drop the kids off.
