"I am the very last person who talked to Marya," said Katarina Giovannoni. "She said she just wanted to go home, she wanted to spend the night in her own bed, in her own home." She never saw Christiansen happier than she was that night, until she abruptly wanted to go drive home to Hager City, Wisconsin which is across the boarder instead of staying overnight at a friend's house. "We pretty much hung together as a group, we stuck together there was never a time Marya was ever alone," she said.

Family and friends are organizing another search Wednesday morning at 9:30. They say they're meeting at the Bluff Bars and Grill in Hager City, Wisconsin.

I'm with you on that one. I wanna know what the boyfriend/baby daddy was up to the night before and the morning after. From what I understand, he didn't call police until later that afternoon.

I hear you. I am untrusting too. However, with her car missing, I am still inclined to consider it is in the water somewhere.

I think that could be a possibility and toyed with it myself. On the one hand if she had just decided to go home he may have not expected her until afternoon therefore the late call to LE. But thst might also be a good reason to explain the late call to throw off suspicion? Pure speculation. And I hope I'm wrong#

You're not the only one thinking this is a possibility, but where is her van? It would have to be close to home if this indeed is what happened, unless another person was involved? They have two young children that would have been left at home alone while the van was hidden or placed somewhere. As far as I have seen, it hasn't been found.
Has it been said anywhere as to where her phone last pinged or if she made or answered any calls or texts before or after leaving the friends house?
I'm still seriously hoping she decided to go to someone else's house and is just afraid to come home because it would look bad. At least then she's still around for their babies.

BBM. Is it just me, or does the bolded language imply it was some sort of communication (whether by phone, text, etc.) from home that prompted Marya to leave prematurely?

No, I read it the other way - she decided she wanted to go home and there was no text or call that suggested there were problems.

Definitely in water. I have followed many cases where the car was found no where near the route the person was expected to take. She didn't run away or was kidnapped or murdered by anyone. jmo
