Another child, Maryssa Cooley, 15, was originally reported as missing but it was determined later that she was not with the others and is safe.

Sunday afternoon, the BCA said there are now five Cooley children listed as missing. They are also seeking the public's help in finding 13-year-old Mojo Cooley and 16-year-old Morgan Cooley.

Their mother, Izetta Cooley, 39 from Moorhead, took them from the residence where they were staying, according to the BCA. She is court-ordered to not have contact with the children, according to the release.

Mollycia, Mateo and Morgan were seen leaving the residence with their mother. Mojo and Marco were not seen, but the BCA said it is possible they are traveling with her.

Izetta's residence is in Moorhead, but it is unclear where they may be heading. It is possible they are staying in a hotel.

The BCA said they may also be in the Dakotas.

Authorities said Izetta Cooley's husband was arrested last week in connection with a homicide, and the no-contact order was signed Friday.

Authorities Ask For Help Locating Missing Children In Mower County

“Steve Sandvik with the Mower County Sheriff’s office’s said investigators got word from the US Marshals Service that 44-year-old Miguel Jay Cooley, Sr., of Moorhead, might be at the home of distant relatives in Rose Creek.

Nearly 30 officers including US Marshals, sheriff’s deputies, Austin police and members of the Austin/Mower County SIRT team executed a search warrant at a home on the 200 block of Elm Street shortly before 5 p.m. Monday.

Sandvik said Cooley initially tried to exit the home, but went back inside and was taken into custody without further incident.”

Mower County Senior Sgt. Investigator Steven Sandvik says the children were placed at the Rose Creek residence on Friday after a court order from Clay County.

Authorities say "because of recent events" they are concerned for their welfare.
Fargo authorities say on early September 23rd, Miguel Cooley drove into the McDonald's parking lot at 905 Main Ave and shot Gabriel Perez multiple times. Perez died at the scene.

A possible extra-marital affair may have been the motive. Police say an uncle of Perez's found a note with a phone number and called the number. A woman, Cooley's wife, said she felt responsible for the shooting and was threatening suicide. A detective also received information from a juvenile who said she overheard Cooley say, "I shot him." Police believe Cooley was jealous over a relationship Perez had with his wife.

What were the “recent events” that has the kids removed? By most accounts they were a happy loving family, then total *hit show. I hope the mom isn’t really suicidal and was just being histrionic, especially with all the kids w her.

I would imagine that a parent murdering the other parent's secret lover might make a decent case for emergency alternate care for minors. Til it's all sorted out. ??

Any SM on either of the parents, or the kids? I pray she keeps them safe. Please don't harm them! They are innocent in an adult situation because of adult actions!

The story is a bit confusing. All the stories say five children with her however law enforcement has repeatedly said that the 15-year old (Maryssa) is the only one safe and in the custody of Clay County officials.
