Anyone have anymore info about this? I knew Reidun pretty well although I hadn't seen her IRL since 2014. I've felt pretty horrible because she had been asking me to come up to Duluth often until the end of 2016. I couldn't oblige as I was having my own issues with sobriety at that time. Finding anything on this case has been difficult.

My best guess would be she owed someone money or she got with someone who was a jealous psycho. I honestly don't believe she ODed although she may have felt suicidal if someone was stalking/threatening her. Some of the guys she dated were, uh, interesting to the say the least...

Welcome keldoge! I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. We don't know what happened it seems, but I hope you know that it probably would not have mattered if you had gone to see her in 2016. You shouldn't feel guilty or hold onto that, IMO.

I'm not finding any media updates on her case, but I found a link I can't explain.

She was found deceased in Nov 2017. Why would there be a court case with charges in January 2018? I need a legal person to explain. Is this just saying previous charges were all dismissed? Anyone good at looking up things in the court records?

I think you are right. They just "officially" read it into court as dismissed on this date.
