Police are investigating the discovery of male body found in the Scioto River Monday evening.

Officers were dispatched to Genoa Park when body was spotted by kayakers around 7 p.m.

Police said the man is an elderly African-American and was wearing a dark blue shirt and blue jeans.

All of them have been missing for quite a while, but that doesn't mean they can't have been living in Columbus or recently made their way there. Also not said this man is from Ohio, of course, but it may be a start.

Tuesday morning around 7:30 a.m. (today) the body of a woman was found in the homeless camp along the Scioto River in Columbus.

Lauren France from Columbus is still missing. No id of the woman was given yet.

Meanwhile police are working to identify the man whose body was pulled from the Scioto River Monday evening. He is believed to be between 40 and 60 years old.

Man found in Scioto River identified as Raymond Solomon, 64, of Dillon Drive on the East Side, his death doesn't appear to be suspicious.

Woman identified as "Kathy or Kat", lived in homeless camp, boyfriend charged with murder.
