We MUST keep trying to show and listen to the REAL America.....
We ARE here, and we are so sick of all this.

Is this what THEY want? A Civil War....
I listen to Heather Cox Richardson, an expert on American history.
In this podcast she explains "these actions are based in racist beliefs that POC are invading and taking over white people who are going to destroy it. And anyone standing up for POC are also an enemy". [paraphrasing]

Demented and sick.

What makes USA the USA is the Constitution, not the color of skin of the people who live here or their country of origin.

Stating the obvious, I know.

Border Patrol commander-at-large Gregory Bovino praised the agents who were involved in the shooting of anti-ICE protester Alex Pretti — and said they are the real victims of the fatal melee in Minneapolis.

No words.

All anyone will hear from the current administration is lies, and doubling down on lies. Which in this case, will make it more unsafe for the public because the murderous ICE agents will believe more than ever they can just kill peaceful protesters and get away with it. They are NOT immune from prosecution though, not sure they realize it.

Gun Owners of America respond (sorry about the formatting - it is how it copied from the source).

We are saddened by the loss of life in Minneapolis, Minnesota earlier today during a federal law-enforcement operation. Because details remain limited and facts are still emerging, it is essential that
@theJusticeDept
conduct a complete, transparent, and prompt investigation so the public can fully understand what occurred and maintain confidence in the rule of law.Furthermore, we condemn the untoward comments of
@USAttyEssayli
. Federal agents are not "highly likely" to be "legally justified" in "shooting" concealed carry licensees who approach while lawfully carrying a firearm. The Second Amendment protects Americans' right to bear arms while protesting—a right the federal government must not infringe upon.Finally, the Left must stop antagonizing
@ICEgov
and
@CBP
agents who are taking criminals off the streets and play a crucial role in protecting communities and upholding the rule of law.

According to DHS and Border Patrol leadership, the agent involved is an eight‑year veteran of the agency. No further biographical details, disciplinary history or prior use‑of‑force incidents involving the agent have been disclosed publicly.

What about the others in that pack? I want to know who all of them are. Also there were TWO who emptied their guns on Alex's lifeless body. Who are they?

What exactly were they doing?? We're they planting evidence? I can't come up with a reason why they did that....
At best, they were looking for the weapon they thought was still on him so they could secure it to give him medical aid.

At worst, and I what I think is most likely, they realized that something had gone very wrong on their part and they were panicking, hoping the gun was underneath him so they could say “see, he had a gun pulled out, we were justified!”

IMO

Edit to prevent misunderstanding:

It’s clear that the gun was removed from Alex before they shot him, I was just responding to what I thought was going through the agents’ minds when they were doing that.

I'm sorry, but I think they were trying to find his identification. Since they needed to know who they had just killed, and they could see he wasn't going to be able to tell them himself.

Looking for ID seems the obvious reason to me.

But I'm sure they would've been thrilled to find drugs on him or anything else they could use to disparage their victim.

Did he read the CBP Use of Force Policy?

8. An Authorized Officer/Agent may have to rapidly escalate or de-escalate through use of force options, depending on the totality of facts and circumstances of the particular situation. Once used, physical force must be discontinued when resistance ceases or when the incident is under control.

This is what a physician on scene said:

"I was confused as to why the victim was on his side, because that is not standard practice," the pediatrician wrote. "Checking for a pulse and administering CPR is standard practice. Instead of doing either of those things, the ICE agents appeared to be counting his bullet wounds."

And this fact will convict Jonathan Ross too. His 3rd shot was the lethal one to Renee Good's head, and Ross was standing on the side of the car.

No need to worry, I believe that happened as well, since it’s right before my eyes in several videos :) I was just responding as to what I think was going through the agents’ minds as they were rifling through his dead body.

While reading through the policy last night, I was astounded about how many rules they had in regard to persons in vehicles and the use of lethal force and the amount of violations that occurred then. The first rule being not to stand in front of a vehicle. But I’ll leave that be here, as I don’t want to go too much off-topic.

And Florida and Texas don’t have this problem because they don’t have a Democratic governor. JMO
And they let the federal administration into their voting records. Have you seen that Bondi sent a letter to MN that they will take ICE out if MN gives them access to the voting files.

Now I see better what DOGE wants with the data they stole.

It's crazy that I live in a country where goons go to a state, kill its citizens, and then say we will stop killing if you give us the information we need to cheat in upcoming elections. It seems like bad fiction. But it is reality.

MOO

The Attorney General of the US is practicing extortion in the light of day? And basically at the same time exposing there are no lines of demarcation between the executive branch, law enforcement and judiciary?

Ross will never stand trial. IMO neither will the agent who murdered Alex Pretti.

That is what terrifies me for this country. Like a runaway train, this atmosphere in America right now is headed towards more violence, more dead citizens, and still there are those who will look away and remain silent. By the time the government has come for the rights of those individuals it will be far too late. JMO

The reason I have faith they will be held accountable is: history.
