At best, they were looking for the weapon they thought was still on him so they could secure it to give him medical aid.

At worst, and I what I think is most likely, they realized that something had gone very wrong on their part and they were panicking, hoping the gun was underneath him so they could say “see, he had a gun pulled out, we were justified!”

They removed Alex's gun BEFORE they murdered him. I posted video of it above.

No need to worry, I believe that happened as well, since it’s right before my eyes in several videos I was just responding as to what I think was going through the agents’ minds as they were rifling through his dead body.

While reading through the policy last night, I was astounded about how many rules they had in regard to persons in vehicles and the use of lethal force and the amount of violations that occurred then. This is a good question, as literally millions of people were out and about that day, many in the vicinity of Federal Immigration operations, but it's these 2 who garnered special attention.

I think the conflation was deliberate. And unnecessary since Noem is willing to flat out give false narratives.

Notice the restraint on the MN leaders. They have rightfully not called this shooting a murder because it will interfere with the suspect(s)' right(s) to a fair trial.

Since I am not an official, I can say it. It was a murder.

If I were a a fed on that threat that day, or if my spouse/child/parent were a fed on the street that day, I'd have to to worry every day that I or my loved one will be brought up on murder charges.

The willingness of the federal government to protect this <modsnip> is less enduring than it was for Renee's murder three weeks ago. Already, some Trump officials are silent, or saying we have to wait for the facts to come out. They are leaving Noem more alone in her lies.

She said: “The agents pulled the man on the ground. I didn’t see him touch any of them – he wasn’t even turned toward them. It didn’t look like he was trying to resist, just trying to help the woman up. I didn’t see him with a gun. They threw him to the ground. Four or five agents had him on the ground and they just started shooting him. They shot him so many times … I don’t know why they shot him. He was only helping. I was five feet from him and they just shot him …”

She continued: “I have read the statement from DHS about what happened and it is wrong. The man did not approach the agents with a gun. He approached them with a camera. He was just trying to help a woman get up and they took him to the ground.

“I feel afraid. Only hours have passed since they shot a man right in front me, and I don’t feel like I can go home because I heard agents were looking for me. I don’t know what the agents will do when they find me. I do know that they’re not telling the truth about what happened.”

CNN interviews man who witnessed the shooting. According to this witness, who was in the donut shop and also filmed the shooting, the ICE agents were chasing a man who ran into the donut shop and then the owner locked the door so ICE couldn't get in. that is when they started milling about and taking their aggression out on bystanders. And why Alex Pretti got involved helping women who were being accosted by the agents.
