Also ICE is immigration enforcement, they have nothing to do with gun permitting or making sure US citizens are carrying with proper documentation. So seems like they may have overstepped their duties there, to put it lightly.

that’s your opinion and you are free to think that. I think that the safest thing for Minnesotans would be to not have 3000 (poorly trained) Federal agents invade and occupy their city. IMO.

Can you point to the piece of legislation that demonstrates that he was not legally carrying, please?

To me, it seems like that only law he may have broken (if you believe the Feds) was failing to carry a piece of plastic. They haven't demonstrated that not doing that made his carry of the gun unlawful.

Per this article, Minnesota’s illegal immigrant population is 1.6% to 2.3% of their total population. I don’t find that to be “so many”

I certainly dont see it that way. ICE has requested that Minneapolis police assist with crowd control in these situations. The Mayor wont allow it. They aren't asking MPD to help them with the immigration arrests, just to keep the peace. Isn't that a police department's job? Neither one of these fatal shootings would have happened if police had been on scene to help with crowd control.

In the case of crowd control, there are 3000 federal agents sent to MN - it's more than greedy to expect a police force of 600 to support 3000 agents when those 600 have other jobs to do in the community. And, state officers HAVE been deployed to handle crowd control at the federal building, for example.

Here's another example of MN cooperating while the feds spread lies about it:

Of those 1.6 - 2.3% how many are the "worst of the worst" criminals we were promised ICE was targeting?
