To me, it seems like that only law he may have broken (if you believe the Feds) was failing to carry a piece of plastic. They haven't demonstrated that not doing that made his carry of the gun unlawful.

I only know that the same agency that lied to us about him assaulting agents and having plans to unleash maximum damage upon agents CLAIMS that is the case. I don't find that agency credible. JMO MOO IMO

And if perchance he did not have his ID on him, there is a penalty under the law that covers such a misdemeanor infraction, and it isn't death.

Mobs have descended on ICE agents attempting to arrest criminal illegal immigrants. Since the mobs don't know who ICE is after, they should not be interfering.

Also ICE is immigration enforcement, they have nothing to do with gun permitting or making sure US citizens are carrying with proper documentation. So seems like they may have overstepped their duties there, to put it lightly.

But in this case, they did know who ICE was targeting. He went into the donut shop and the owner locked the door and ICE was unable to come in. At that point, ICE should have left the scene and gone to get a judicial warrant or whatever they may have needed to apprehend their target. That’s literally their ONLY job. They didn’t do that. They pushed over 2 women and then shot a man in the back.

It's known that Hitler did have a habit when some of his military members were killed by resistance fighters he hit back harder. The actual event of Jews being rounded up in Rome in October 1943 was because 33 German soldiers were killed in a partisan attack. He demanded 10 Jews for every soldier killed. He massacred 335 civilians. He threw a couple more into the mix just because. It was called the Fosse Ardeatine massacre. So whether or not it was a phrase used specifically by Hitler it became part of his program to hit back harder.

It's my opinion that had he not been carrying that day, and had he not inserted himself when the woman was pushed down, he'd likely be alive today.

It's my opinion that an unfortunate chain of events transpired. I do not adhere to the notion that a Federal agent in this case committed 1st degree murder.

It's my opinion that no charges will be brought against the Federal agents in this case, however, if so, they will be lesser in nature, considering a litany of factors that came in to play that day.

I reflect upon another case where "someone who inserted himself" was such a hero.

Of course. We can look at the end result and know that no one should have pulled the trigger. That much is obvious.

But, some see value in examining the events that occurred prior to the shooting in order to understand how it went wrong. Analyzing the events prior to the shooting does not equate with a statement that the shooting was justified.

A peaceful man recording. You see that man with a phone out standing still on the sidewalk and an aggressor gets up close and in his face, that agent backing off. The peaceful man then sees a peaceful fellow observer, a woman, being unnecessarily and violently pushed to the ground by an aggressor. He comes to her aid to help her up off the ground and becomes a target of all the agents for doing that. He's then swarmed by angry/violent agents, is disarmed and shot in the back, dead. There's an examination of the events. That's what my eyes saw clearly. AJMO

Well perhaps, many of us are thinking--and clearly this is only moo-- Is History repeating itself?
And, I personally, believe we have to consider this, since we ARE living in aggressive times.

eg. The US did not enter WW2 until 1941. But Hitler started detaining and imprisoning "people" the very moment he took office in 1933.
Once we start turning "the right to assemble" into "they should not have inserted themselves into the situation", we are starting to slide that very slippery slope.
