OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live) Authorities have now released the name of the man they are searching for after he went missing while jet skiing over the weekend.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office released a statement saying that they are continuing their search for 39-year-old Peter Akinboro of Grand Forks.

Akinboro was first reported missing around 6 p.m. Saturday. Officials say they got a report that Akinboro had taken out a jet ski on West Battle Lake, and a family member later found the jet ski.

Still missing:

The sheriff's department says Peter Akinboro, a native of Nigeria, went missing at 6:00 p.m. Saturday night.

They've used a plane, cadaver dogs and sonar.

The family of Akinboro says he was on a jet ski, but the jet ski was found floating, and unattended.

BATTLE LAKE, MN (WDAZ-TV) -- The body of a local entrepreneur has been found.


Police found the body of forty-year-old Peter Akinboro, about 3 p.m. today.
