MISSING PERSON ALERT: The University of Minnesota Police Dept. is asking for assistance in locating a missing man. Sylvester Sanders, 49, is 5’09, 192 lbs., with brown hair, brown eyes, a black zip hooded sweatshirt and gray pants. Sanders left the University of Minn. Fairview Hospital on Tuesday without clearance and still needs medical care. He has no cell phone or wallet. Sanders walks with an unsteady gate and can get confused. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the U of M PD at 612-624-3346 or dial 911.

U of M police asking for assistance in locating missing patient

The University of Minnesota Police Department is asking for assistance in locating a man from Maplewood.

According to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Sylvester Sanders, 49, was last seen at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital, where he has been under care for the last two weeks. The release says he left the hospital earlier during the day Tuesday without clearance and he still needs medical care.”

If he has been in the hospital for 2 weeks and it is for a medical issue it must be pretty serious.
