MISSING: Brainerd police search for 44-year-old last seen Nov. 2

The Brainerd Police Department is asking for help from the public in locating a 44-year-old man last seen on Nov. 2.

A release said Theodore Erickson was last seen in Brainerd and has not had contact with family or friends since. He has health concerns and does not have any of his medications, leaving authorities concerned for his welfare.

MISSING PERSON ALERT: The Brainerd Police Dept. is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man. Theodore Erickson, 44, is 6’, 240 lbs., with reddish brown graying hair and hazel/blue eyes. He walks with a limp and has a tracheotomy scar on his throat. Erickson was last seen in Brainerd on November 2. Investigators are asking people to check their properties for someone who might have sought shelter. Anyone with information on Erickson’s whereabouts is urged to contact Brainerd Police Department at 218-829-2805 or call 911.

Erickson has a warrant out for his arrest and it is unknown at this time if the Brainerd man is actively avoiding law enforcement contact. The warrant is dated Nov. 8 and is for second-degree assault.

There was recently a story on Fox 13 news about a panhandler who refused a job offered by a Bradenton man. The resemblance is striking if you consider he could’ve lost a significant amount of weight in the last several months. Am I allowed to link to that story?
