His vehicle was later found with the keys in the ignition and his glasses were located on the floor of the front seat. Found two articles but they give some conflicting information:

Star Tribune, May 5, 1978, pg 42

"Missing: William D. Sinclair, Age: 30, Height: 5'10", Weight 135. Last seen Friday, April 23 at a party on 11th Ave, Hopkins. Wearing a blue suede jean jacket, blue jeans, dark blue sweater and light brown shirt."

"Reward offered to help find man, 29," The Minneapolis Star, May 11, 1978, pg 27.

"[The] 29-year old Maple Grove man has not been seen since April 28th."

"William Daniel Sinclair, 12161 69th Ave North, gave his paycheck to his wife, Kathy before going to a party that night in Hopkins with fellow workers from a truck dealership where he was a service manager."

I've tried looking around and I can't even find a proper birth date for him - I can find his marriage record (1972) and a possible arrest for drunken driving in 1968, but other then that his name is so common it's hard to discern if other mentions of him in archives/records are actually him. I think he may have been drafted but I'm not 100% sure.
