One other thing I don’t understand is why Ross didn’t order Good to shut off her engine before circling the SUV and pausing at the back and front.

I watch those silly bodycam Youtubes sometimes and if a car’s engine is running when the officer approaches that’s the first order he gives. Ross in contrast acted like a rookie cop on his first day, which IMO put himself and other officers in danger by then demanding Good exit the car. With the motor running. Isn’t he supposed to have around 10 years of military and LE experience?

JMO the shooting was about intimidating a woman who wasn’t showing proper respect. Was ICE even conducting a raid on that street or were they simply traveling to a different location?

And what experienced ICE agent chooses to stand in front of an SUV while its engine is running then demand the person to exit and then shoot multiple times into a moving vehicle? If this wasn’t such a serious event I’d laugh at Ross’ behavior.

Agree w the BBM, even if one ascribes to the self defense theory for the first shot (I personally don't but understand that others do), how does one reconcile shots two and three, fired into the driver's side window well after the alleged threat had passed?
And what was the point in denying medical care? The number of shots fired and not attending to her makes it seem like they wanted Good dead.

This statement must be stated over and over and over............thank you.... and keep posting it! moo

1. Him moving his cell phone to his non dominant hand as he’s still walking around her vehicle. Why would he do this unless he was considering and planning to have his right hand available to draw his weapon and shoot. This sets up premeditation for me.
I agree with you

For reference, I would like to refer everyone to our constitutional rights in particular the first 10 amendments.

The Amendments | Constitution Center

Not my opinion but our rights.
❤️ ❤️ ❤️

ICE shooting and killing somebody for no reason is against our constitutional rights.

Renee Good's children will never see her again. Your children may never see you again if you live in the USA, too.

Angry face.

We're told by the highest authority the agents followed protocol so we may assume denying aid and leaving the scene is how ICE is trained.

ICE
<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

How long will ICE/LE be allowed to harass, intimidate, stalk, attack and execute American citizens in the streets going to continue? JMO Memphis business owner posted sign saying ICE was not allowed in their restaurant and ICE, FBI, Police, etc. came and harassed him, video in article. https://wegotthiscovered.com/politi...ife-after-putting-up-anti-ice-sign-in-window/
ICE is completely out of control. JMO. I don't understand why everyone cannot see this.

No, he wasn't. But I'm beginning to understand why some people want to believe that so hard.

Either imagine Renee did something wrong, or recognize the USA has become a place where ICE's real mission is to just keep ordinary citizens afraid of exercising their basic rights.

I get why people look at a clear video of this shooting and want to blame the victim. It's because they can't not allow themselves to accept that in the USA, they could be next.

BBM. Bingo.
ETA: I read that as "can't allow themselves to accept that in the USA, they could be next" (the double negative removed)

Multiple witnesses stated agents told her to leave.

“Some of them were leaving, and they just went around her, but ICE gave her orders to leave, while at the same time, another ICE person said, ‘Get out of the car,’ and he reached for her door handle. And then there was an ICE agent in front of her vehicle. So it was difficult for her to leave, as she'd been ordered to do,” Callenson said.

...
Heller said she heard ICE agents telling the driver, a woman, to “get out of here.”

Yes, I found the witness statements. What I am looking for is video that corroborates a specific part of the account.

In CC's description, she says that ICE gave orders to leave while, at the same time, another ICE agent said “get out of the car.”

I can clearly hear “get out of the car” on the first video of the incident and again on JR’s video, and that phrase has been widely transcribed in mainstream media coverage.

What I am trying to corroborate is the other order. CC does not quote it directly, does not identify which agent said it, and indicates that it was given simultaneously.

Heller says it was "get out of here".

I have been looking for a video where that additional order can be heard or otherwise verified. If anyone has one, I would appreciate seeing it.

Moo.... whenever regular LE used force they immediately contact supervisor to inform them (knowledge from listening to scanners) who is the supervisor of ice? He had a phone why did he not phone 911 after shooting..he just left the scene as if he had no responsibility. If the man is known to have PTSD from previous car incident, why is he still working, why does he have a gun, he is an accident waiting to happen. It did happen and he shot them point blank in face. None of the other ice agents touched their guns

👍👍👍

There was no contact between Ross and the SUV. You see him calmly re-holstering his gun. He's clear of the vehicle throughout the interaction.

The only contact between an officer and Renee's car is the agent who is trying to open her car door (it's locked). He then reaches his hand inside (her window his down) to try to unlock it. It doesn't seem to even enter this officer's mind to shoot and kill her on the spot. Maybe he has better control of his emotions/anger.
Agree, but it's a sad world when just trying to forcibly enter a car for no reason is better control!

Well, let's work with the order you do hear, then.

What do you think is a reasonable business purpose for an ICE agent to tell a person to get out of a car blocks away from where the suspect is?

Let’s say there was only the order to get out of the vehicle. Do you think the agents gave her enough time to understand and comply with that order before shooting her? IMO, the order we hear on video from the officer who tries to open her car door was given 5 seconds (per the video) before she is shot. How can she be expected to comply with an order that quickly? Officer Ross himself never says a word to Ms Good, he is never heard speaking to either Renee or her wife in his cell phone video <modsnip> So I guess we may have to agree to disagree that she wasn’t even given proper time to try to comply with the order to exit her vehicle before she was shot to death. IMO.

I agree fully. I'm not someone who is always up in arms over the behavior of law enforcement, but these two things really did stand out starkly. I've even heard similar from some who genuinely have a pro-law enforcement stance.

The wife, Rebecca, making the remark about him needing to go to lunch, may have inadvertently been Ross' breaking point.
