MN -- woman shot in face and killed by ICE, Minneapolis, 7 Jan 2026

  • #261
May 4, 1970. 4 dead in Ohio. National guard fires into group of unarmed students at Kent State. But this is even worse today. Because it's a planned powder keg.

I appreciated the message from local leaders today: Don't take the bait.

I'm adopting that as my 2026 motto (and I'm wishing myself good luck with it).

Noem says attacks on federal agents have become more common in recent months.

"Today alone in this country, there have been four different domestic terrorist attacks on federal officers by the ramming of vehicles, three of them happened here in Minneapolis. We've seen over 100 of these vehicle rammings happen in just recent weeks. And this must stop. ICE alone is facing a 1,300% increase in assaults against them, and an 8,000% increase in death threats against all of them. In fact, the very same officer who was attacked today had previously been dragged by an anti-ICE rioter who had rammed him with a car and drug him back in June. He sustained injuries at that time as well."

Sec. Noem says DHS is following normal protocol for reviewing a use-of-force incident.

Being an ICE agent is an optional profession, no one is being forced to do that job. If they feel their lives and safety are at risk, they could quit and get another job.

Which is a totally different situation. If he couldn’t handle being back at work he should not have been back at work.

And maybe review training on safety around vehicles.

He didn’t step in the path, she backed up to get around and headed straight towards him, i would have shot too.

Jmo
She most certainly did not.

I've seen every single video with every single angle. In no video was this woman "going at an officer." Your opinion is not a fact.

MOO.
I’d like to give both sides the benefit of the doubt when something first happens. I saw the breaking news. I went immediately and watched every video I could find from all different angles.

Time will tell, but I do not see those agents in danger nor do I see an agent hit by a car. JMO

I don't see any dangerous situation either, until the shots were fired.

For those who haven't listened with audio, that is important to do. The acceleration doesn't happen until after the shots. She was not "ramming."

I hope he is in protective custody. He is innocent unless found guilty by a court of law. That's the U.S. way. We don't need some kind of vigilante justice. People are reacting before we get all the details. On both sides of the equation.
The US way of today is not the US way it was years ago. I don’t recognize your country anymore.

OMG - the agents left the scene?!?

They shot a civilian and then left?
It's show that he just walks away, walks away, gets into a car after looking at the video taker waving his fingers like get lost. THAT was his demeanor. Period. IMO

CNN just stated that ICE agents aren't required to wear body cams. Anyone know if this is true?
And if it is true, why???
Would certainly be beneficial when issues pop up that need to be investigated, like, for instance, finding out what caused an agent to shoot an unarmed, US citizen in the face numerous times.
IMO.

I thought of this too. And the woman filming on her phone yelling "what did you do?" is like Mary Ann Vecchio.

I did the same. All that I could find and on different news shows. Focused, watched and knew the truth. He wanted to kill her and he did. Let her go, all about the 'arrest' wasn't it. Now, you cold blood killed a young woman with a child, a son. His father died in 2023. IMO

Or people could simply follow the law. A good first step would be to stop obstructing or targeting ICE and allow them to do their jobs.

Trump posted on Truth Social that one of the agents is in the hospital:

"Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital."

So I'm asking, which of the agents walking around is the one in the hospital??

Trump lies yet again.
We can see with our own eyes. No one was hurt other than the woman that they murdered.
She was trying to move her vehicle as requested (wheels turned away from the agent), yet he stepped in and shot her. Why? She wasn't a risk and she wasn't under arrest.

There isn't any agent in hospital.
No agent was hit by the vehicle, even though it was being driven by a dead woman, that they killed!

So many similarities. We would scream at the lies on evening TV.
