This from above article, clearly shows the officer being struck.

Imo that angle is deceptive. He is on video after with no sign of injury, no limp.
It's amazing what different angles show. You can barely even see the guy in front of her from the side angle videos that have been shared. This angle makes it clear he is lucky he wasn't seriously injured in this incident. Moo. I didn't even think he was hit at all from the other videos that were released.

I find it noteworthy that in videos of him after the incident he is moving normally and walking without a limp.

Did the victim intend to drive over the man with the gun?

I think the answer is obvious. As soon as she was shot in the face, she could no longer control the vehicle. Whatever action she took regarding steering the vehicle prior to the shooting played out after the shooting.

After she was shot, the vehicle turned to the right and travelled along the road away from the shooter. The vehicle did not travel in the direction of the shooter or the house across the street.

The shooter moved towards the vehicle and shot the victim in the face while standing next to the vehicle. He then shot her again through the driver's side window.

The victim was killed because the shouting, swearing man aiming a gun at her told her to get out of her car, and she felt unsafe doing that. The shouting swearing man then shot her in the face. She had good instincts regarding the shooter.

Look at the turned tires, and the legs of the shooter - he is not in front of the vehicle. He continued to angrily shoot her in the head after the first shot.

This thread is eye-opening, in more ways than one.

Because federal convictions can be pardoned by the president?

jmo
He will never be charged. This administration certainly won't charge him, and they are refusing to share information with the state which will effectively make a state prosecution impossible.

The Governor is addressing the issue now. Agenda Free TV on youtube (approved source) is streaming it.

sadly I fear you are right. The trampling of the rights of US citizens and killings will continue with impunity.

If I see masked men descending on my neighborhood bet your bippy I am filming them ;)
Same. These guys shouldn’t be given an inch and if they come to my community and harass my neighbors you’d better believe I’m documenting everything. Moo

If he won't be charged you will be dealing soon with piles of dead civilians. IMO.

also, even if he had been clipped, i tend to think he would have been knocked off balance and not been able to immediately fire several shots into the driver's seat.

that's not to say it wasn't a close enough brush for him to have been honestly rattled or to honestly have thought she was going to run him over. he can be seen moving his body sideways to avoid the car, imo.

though of course, honestly rattled =/= justifiable homicide. not if you've already moved yourself out of the path of the car before you start firing. certainly not by the time you fire the last of multiple shots through the driver's window. and if she was given conflicting orders and then got killed for obeying them, someone needs to swing at some level.

imo, his defense will focus on how fast it all happened, and ambiguity over which shot was fatal.

Watch a complete slowed down video. The NYT video jumps back and forth between slow and full speed. Her reverse lights are off and the front tire spins for a split second and she starts to go forward , both front and rear tires made a forward motion before he drew.
He could have drawn and not shot. He could have backed up and not shot. He chose to shoot.

President Trump called the dead woman a 'professional agitator' and claimed she was shot in 'self-defense.'
[snip]
'Minnesota will not allow our community to be used as a prop in a national political fight. We will not take the bait.'

He [Gov. Walz] then addressed Donald Trump and Noem directly.

'You've done enough. We do not need any further help from the federal government,' he said.

'What we're seeing is the consequences of governance designed to generate fear, headlines and conflict.'

Moments after an ICE agent fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis, a man who identified himself as a doctor was barred by officers from checking on the victim.

Video taken by a witness in the aftermath of the shooting on Wednesday, Jan. 7 was obtained by the Huffington Post.

The video picks up after the woman's SUV crashed into a parked car after she was shot by the ICE agent.

"Can I go check a pulse?," a man asks.

An agent tells the man, "No," and to back up.

"I'm a physician," the man replied.

"I don't care,"
one agent is heard saying, while another says that EMS is on the way and that they had their own medics on scene.

at least one ICE agent on the scene attempts to deescalate after the shooting and I give him credit for speaking respectfully to the irate woman who was screaming. Unlike the one who prevented the physician from checking for a pulse and said "I DON"T CARE"

IMO law enforcement immunity at all levels needs to end. If there's a justifiable shooting, they can justify it to a jury

This agent needs to be identified, too.
Appalling.
IMO.

That’s your opinion.
When the video is slowed down enough that you can clearly see the sequence of events, is it really an opinion? I don't necessarily think he should have shot but I can understand what led to him shooting. He has a split second to react to a vehicle that has gone from reverse to forward and he's in front of said vehicle. I've already said once that since she was in reverse he most likely wasn't thinking or expecting her to put in drive and try to drive away as he was walking in front of the vehicle. I also don't think she expected him to be right in front and panicked.

They tried to lie and say she crossed state lines with intent to protest because she had Missouri plates. In reality, she had just moved from Missouri.

It is wild the levels we are seeing of trying to paint this innocent woman as some kind of ‘professional agitator’.

Why couldn’t DHS just have said ‘We are looking into this incident.’ Why the attempt to portray her as a ‘domestic terrorist’, a term they’ve also seemed to throw at any kind of observer or protestor exercising their First Amendment rights?

They know this wasn’t right. They are in CYA mode.

Yes, what you claim to perceive in the video is your opinion. Others here have watched the exact videos you have, and have different opinions.
