The conversation ender for me is the fact that in the time it took to draw his gun, he could have stepped away from the vehicle. He chose not to.
Exactly. A fellow commenter told me to be more logical and less emotional over it. With that sentiment, what's more logical here?
If you feel like a car is coming towards you and might hit you, is your natural reaction to A) step back out the way or B) stand still and shoot multiple times. jmo.

IMO she was the lead car in a protest. She had her vehicle positioned that way to block people, cars, ICE and whoever else from getting by.

The vehicle she was driving was stationary and sideways across the road for about three minutes before the fatal confrontation.
Please post source that she was stationary and sideways for 3 minutes before the murder.
Also it was proven multiple times that she was not blocking any cars / ICE agents as you can see vehicles getting around her before she is ultimately blocked by the gray SUV / person who murders her.

And logic would eliminate option B... It wouldn't stop the car.

Apparently federal officers don’t need to act rationally, just all of us civilian peons. And we certainly see even before the shooting they were not acting rationally - they were ordering her to do different things without ANY clear CoC. The whole scene was a nonsensical mess, as so often seems to be the case when ICE shows up.

You would think LE would be held to a higher standard of rationality than the general public.

He stepped TOWARD the car. Also, he has a dragging incident from June. It appears he mishandles interactions, escalates, rather than defuse like good LE do. He was seeking retribution. JMO

"The Minnesota Star Tribune was the first to publicly identify Ross. In a brief article naming Ross, the local Fox affiliate quoted a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson confirming that the agent involved in the shooting was the same agent dragged by Munoz-Guatemala in June. The New York Post ran a story referencing Ross’s dragging incident, but did not name him.

Video footage from the Munoz-Guatemala incident shows a beige Chevy Tahoe, the same SUV make and model that was on scene, parked close to Good’s dark red SUV before the shooting."

When we go out and protest, we're gonna make our voices heard (usually a sign is best).

There will be counter protesters but remember this isn't the jury room. We don't all have to come to agreement. To avoid becoming COUNTERPRODUCTIVE, please remember this.

How sad this young woman lost her life. I truly think she was trying to extract her self from the situation. I however also think the agent thought she was trying to run him down. I don’t think he started his day thinking I’m going to shoot any one in my way. She didn’t start her day thinking I am going to run over an Ice Agent. It all happened in a split second and was truly a heartbreaking tragedy. As far as all the brainwashing comments being made imho this cuts both ways. Tensions are running high in these situations and here as well. What’s the answer I don’t know. I just wish peace and love to everyone.

Here’s the quote from the article I linked several times.

The video shows that the vehicle driven by 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good was stationary and sideways across the road for about three minutes before the fatal confrontation.

If the agent thought she trying to run him down, shooting is not the proper response. It doesn't stop the car. It actually eliminates the possibility of the car stopping.

This is where I have to respectfully disagree. It seems that many ICE agents feel they have the right to shoot first and … in my opinion, make up stories later. There are two other cases on page 1 of ICE shooting someone, making up a false claim of vehicle ramming, and the charges being dropped against the shot civilian because ICE flat out lied to cover their asses.

I think too many ICE agents start every day thinking ‘I can do whatever I want, and I can shoot anyone who doesn’t obey. And nobody is going to stop me.’

You are correct. The gray ICE car zoomed past her, she was yielding to ICE. Then they yelled at her to move, which is what she was in the process of doing and instead of letting her obey their command, they lunged at her car door attempting to open it, she pulled away, heading toward the right, when the other ICE agent shot her, and chased her car, shooting her several times. This is cold blooded murder, and the shooter needs to be brought to justice. JMO (based on video evidence)

Re: "Then they yelled at her to move, which is what she was in the process of doing and instead of letting her obey their command..."

They told her to get out of the car: "Out of the car" "Out of the car" "Get out of the f****ing car".

Agent involved in shooting part of ICE's Special Response Team: Official

The agent involved in the deadly shooting is a member of ICE's Special Response Team (SRT), according to a law enforcement official, and is based in Minneapolis.

The agent has 10 years of experience, according to a source.

I dread to think of who else he has harmed in those 10 years...jmo

Yes, they were giving her opposing orders at the same time. No chain of command. Clearly not well trained. And jumpy and trigger happy. Bad combination.

The VP is promoting personal truth, not factual truth.

He is asking people to have faith in his truth, and emphasizing that critical thinking is unnecessary.

~ in my humble opinion ~

VP is pretty smart though. He thinks everything over. He basically repeated identifying information that Noem gave yesterday. (Because no one listens to her anyhow.)

Jonathan D Ross is a huge political liability to the GOP and the Feds now. He is their problem.

So I hope that not a single hair falls from the guy’s head. Seriously.

It is up to Minnesota what to do. But please, guard him!

Checking his Iraq record, why not, maybe he worked at Abu Ghraib?

I read that he lived close to El Paso, Texas, were there any crimes around when he served there? (He has a very strange gait and reaction, too. Posture is specific).

As to people who are trying to check the car’s movements or explain that he was right:

First, he is no policeman, he is a masked ICE agent who killed a US citizen. He had no job approaching her. He had no job being in that residential area.

Second, Noem said that the agents’ car got stuck in the snow bank and they couldn’t get out. If they got stuck in a snow bank, with their big cars and all, why do they expect citizens in regular cars to be excellent drivers on snowy Minnesota streets?

Having “a license to kill” doesn’t automatically turn you into James Bond.

I fear for my children and grandchildren. Unless something changes real soon, my grands will never know the America I knew. And I truly hate that.
Hate to break this to you but the America you knew was lost years ago. You aren’t nearing a fascist dictatorship, you are living in it.

What other orders were given?
