If you have followed what is happening at ICE operations around the US, dancing and music (and funny light-hearted costumes) are a big part of the protests.

imo
Yes, against the ugliness of them, ICE. It's a great and peaceful way to show THE DIFFERENCE. imo

Renee Nicole Good seen ‘dancing’ as she blocks ICE agents for several minutes before fatal Minneapolis shooting

So What. We know she was there warning neighbors ice was in the neighborhood. A moment of levity does not constitute getting her head blown off. Or does it?

Immigration enforcement officials are doing their job, it wouldn't be appropriate for them to act like that.

Again. Why do any of the actions shown in these videos justify murder. They were on a residential street. Not in actual danger.

It should not be standard process for agents to shoot people. It should be a last resort. Normal law enforcement would not see an unarmed mother as someone that needs to be brutalized and shot to death for these actions.

The level they've stooped to to justify her killing is mind-boggling to me

dancing or shooting someone in the head hmmm such a difficult decision to judge which is the most appropriate act

Looks like she was intentionally blocking traffic. Why?

If I could I would tell them the same thing: Don't use definite terms until the facts have been determined. But they are not in this thread AFAIK.

The amount of certainty being asserted on all sides is making it difficult to examine the evidence objectively.

I come to WS to examine the evidence. I'm finding it very difficult in this case.
Well, I have eyes, ears and a brain.

I agree only a jury can convict. I agree it is possible that more evidence might exist that will change my mind. But unless something new is brought to light- it is impossible to see anything other than a calculated, cold-blooded, unjustified and unprovoked murder.

Just because that is my conclusion does not mean I haven't seen the available evidence. It does not mean I am not open-minded. It means I see what I see.

But they are your leaders who you voted in to serve you responsibly...I hope. Their job should be to be impartial until there is a thorough investigation.
Instead the powers that be are telling you what to think, which is my main point.
So if they are already telling you what happened then it's unlikely that they are impartial or interested in what really happened
You don't just wave away their influence like they're another poster on WS
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by this comment, so my apologies if i have misunderstood. It's my understanding the FBI is investigating. Are you saying its unlikely that the FBI are impartial or interested in what really happened?

I don't see that at all. She waved cars around her.

She was shot in the head. I want to know the reason for that.

Jmo, I don't see how prior dancing or being illegally parked affects the facts to elevate the totality to a lethal force justification. I might expect to get a ticket if I refused to move my car, and for my car eventually to be towed. If I got out and obstructed traffic with my body, I presume I might be looking at failure to disperse or unlawful assembly or something like that. But regardless, those things are separate from what ultimately happened, imo.

Does she deserve to be shot three times in the face for blocking traffic?

Watching that video, the claim that she “didn’t comply” doesn’t seem to hold up. She wasn’t obstructing anyone, she wasn’t chasing agents, and she wasn’t preventing them from leaving. They were already clearing out. Even the shooter’s vehicle drove behind her without issue.

The confrontation only happened because an agent chose to stop and engage her, not because she posed any threat.

My point was really about timing and precision. IMO homicide will end up being the official classification, but that determination belongs to the Medical Examiner. Legal authorities will decide on any additional charges. <modsnip>
While it may not have been obvious, my point was to show that premeditation only applies to 1st degree murder and there are other classifications that do not.

I'm not clear on what other MOD classifications any ME could come up with other than Homicide when a human being is shot point blank in the face.

Between yesterday and today I have lost all patience with the twisting and contorting by some, that she caused her own demise. Or her wife did. I have read the most horrible comments about her I have ever seen seriously in my life that were written publicly and with glee. Not entirely here but certainly other places. Why don’t they bring her back to life and burn her as a witch and btw get the wife. I have read she should have been home minding her own business. Guess what it’s 2026 and last time I checked women are not stuck in a kitchen keeping their mouths shut. That it’s her fault she died because she was warning others of ice presence. Her wife’s fault for telling her to drive - <modsnip> weaponizing the vehicle you name it. Here too. I always like websleuths because I felt there was a common goal helping to solve bad crimes. Well some people sure did show their true colors. The reality that my own eyes have shown me was she was shot in broad daylight heartlessly, cruelly. Left to bleed out, denied medical attention - my god the paramedics had to carry her poor body down the street and past the ice barricade. As far as I am concerned there is nothing left to discuss. He KILLED her in cold blood in broad daylight, and I could give a sh*t about which way her wheels were turned or assumed intentions. The thought and feeling that keeps coming to mind is biting into what appears to be a beautiful fresh apple and coming back with a mouthful of maggots. This may not be okay to post this I don’t know. But holding back was making me sick. So my apologies to the admin in advance.

I'm seeing videos on CNN showing the Agent's own vehicle being able to drive behind her, along with other vehicles. Why, then, did he need to stop it, walk up to her and antagonize her? Why did his weapon need to be drawn? Why did he need to shoot her to death? He could've kept on driving out of the neighborhood.

I'm agreeing with others that these agents want escalation, at least based on this situation and it's very sad that certain individuals in power are egging that on.

Shooting a woman repeatedly in the head and calling her a f-ing b-i-t-c-h is appropriate to you? Jmo.

There is certainly no guarantee if she’d exited her vehicle he wouldn’t have murdered her

The FBI works for this admin so no.
