The quotes from the victims mother (Amethyst Killian: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com) about how she told Amethysts’ little 6 year old daughter that Mommy is dead make me feel sick. She told her that God took her mommy because she was beautiful then she consoled her with toys as the child was screaming in grief. She then told the girl that the toys won’t fix anything. She says that now, the child just wants a Christmas tree. ?.
I’m paraphrasing, but the article quoted Grandma directly. I just can’t bring myself to quote it. God bless those poor babies and the whole family.

That QT is a small truck stop and right off a major interstate. Between that and the family situation that I’ve read about, there are too many possibilities, but it’s not all over the news here, and not much from LE means they know things they’re not publicizing for whatever reason(s) most of the time.

"...and had left to do some shopping at a mini mart early Thanksgiving Day." Why would someone go at 1 am to go shopping for thanksgiving day when the food may not even be ready until evening? Why wouldn't she have waited until at least 6 or 7 am to go? This whole thing raises some eyebrows. Also, is there any information on how long she had been dating and engaged to her boyfriend?

I *think* he’s the father of her 11 month old and unborn baby.

the thing that caught my attention is the mother saying
victim had a troubled past
I find this a little strange at this early time
anyway if that past is explained it might explain the murder...someone from that past maybe

This is a strange one. Seems to be simple, but there's probably a lot lurking just under the surface. The timeline in particular seems really weird. She left at 1 AM to go to a QuickTrip that was just down the street from her house, but no one noticed she was missing for several hours? And then it's several more hours before her body is found--just a block from her house? Do I have that right? Very weird.

I think this poor girl needed some counseling. She was surrounded by family members at home. We know of her Mom and fiancé that she lived with. I don’t feel this a random act. Jmo

yes the family not reporting a pregnant woman missing until morning is questionable...that if they are telling the truth

It's possible everyone went to bed and didn't realize she was missing until morning....

Surely no one imagined an outcome so awful.

JMO

so no one woke up until 8 that's not possible...besides when someone is out that late...someone need to close off ...i dont know exactly what kind of environment they have or life they led ... we just talking generalities

How sad those little ones.

Troubled past and JMO I didn't look at social media and you go out at 1:30AM? Addiction. Maybe being newly pregnant she chose that hour so boyfriend wouldn't know.

Or for smokes? Hiding ciggies if she smoked? Maybe she just needed a diet coke and chips?

So, so young with beautiful kids. No matter what it was the poor girl and her unborn baby deserved a chance.

There isn’t much new here but it does say family members confirmed they were the ones to find her belongings including a bloody phone charger.

Pregnant mom-of-two, 22, is found dead in 'apparent homicide' on the street in Missouri | Daily Mail Online

a bloody phone charger is just bizarre. Was it used in the murder? Or there was so much blood it got on everything ? IMO Creepy

I haven’t looked at SM so almost don’t want to comment cuz I know I’m missing a lot ... but the first sorts of perps that jump out as likely MOO speculation (DV, local dealer?) don’t seem likely to leave the poor woman’s body right there in her neighborhood.
