I think you're sent to the attic for a Time Out, don't want to go there.:floorlaugh:

Now I'm running upstairs and then downstairs..up and down, up and down.:skip:

..in the Today Show you-tube (post #540) the reporter says:

"with 3 other small children to care for....."

..it may have been one of the other kids shown in the video that you saw, and not the 5 year old.

..also, he says he came home-----the mother and 5 year old were out looking for Breeann ( i hope they had someone watching the other small children while she was out doing this..)

..do we know the ages of the other siblings?

I thought the children were older from her previous marriage...

If she had been hit by a car that would have made some noise.

Several times kids have been hit on their bikes and neighbors didn't hear it.
We had a 4 year old boy hit here and heard nothing until the mother's screams.

8 year old Andrew Brumback was run over and none of the neighbors heard anything. They simply noticed the cops outside.

I suppose it's possible that the bike was sitting there alone and someone came upon it and took it. Then, later, they realized it was related to this disappearance. panicked that they'd be implicated, and disposed of it? After the training wheels were already off?

Nah. They probably would have come forward, and would likely have been seen disposing of it.

I still think she might just have wandered off and got really lost, but the bike part is a real puzzle.

It's 50-50 for me whether I think she was abducted or is just lost.

Camille Cleverly.
Still angers me.
Had they not taken that bike, we would have found it and known for sure where to search.
Or even if they had called in an abandoned bike in the middle of the night, at the falls.
Camille might be alive.

What type of Prep would start disassembling the bike and leaving pieces here and there....:waitasec:

It leave more traceable evidence

I can see why LE thinks someone is planting these things...

Holly Bobo case. Leaving a trail of "traceable evidence" has worked in that case... we got nothing.

Samantha Runnion was lured by the monster from her front yard.

Alisa Maier was grabbed from her front yard by a stranger. (2 hours from Breeann, returned safely 24 hours later. Suspect killed himself.)

Destiny Norton was taken from her backyard by her neighbor.

I am confused. Is it verified that the training wheels were found? Or is that speculation?

I believe training wheels were found, but I don't believe it's been confirmed they are from her bike.

I think there was a post today that said, yes, two training wheels were found.

I do not believe someone is leavng a trail...I never believe that, although I am sure it happens. Either the wheels came off, or someone is messing with LE and put them out there as a "joke", especially since LE said that one item was not there the previous day. Anyone who took this child, IMO, did so as quickly as possible.

But, as always, just my opinion...

It's real:
Police Chief Omar Karnes says two of the three items are training wheels. He says they cannot be positive they are the ones that were on Breeann's pink bike. The bike is also missing.

"We aren't sure they are hers," said Chief Karnes. "We sent them off to the crime lab."

Chief Karnes says they can not disclose the third item yet.

"We found one wheel Tuesday afternoon and the other Wednesday," said Chief Karnes.

...and can I assume that if you bring anything upstairs from downstairs that you get sent to the attic?

I can not imagine someone taking the time to remove training wheels off a bike. I can see someone grabbing the girl with the bike. Both small and easy to place inside a vehicle. Also easy for neighbors not to hear or see anything. When I was 18, I was asleep and a man shot his roommate right above my head, apartment above. And I never heard a sound. If your not expecting something to go astray, you won't be to open in seeing anything. Reminder that it just takes a split second for a situation to occur when children are present :( Every day children as young as 3 play outside alone. Parents get the feeling of security because, oh nothing has ever happen here before. A 5, 6, 7 year old should not be placed in charged while outside. When my 6 and soon to be 4 yr are outside with me, I bring them in, to do whatever I need to do. I have let them stand on the porch, but recently I had a SO move down the road from me, and I remember what was more important and how it only takes a second. He moved, thankfully. But does not mean that there are no predators outside my driveway. I really hope Breeann is found today, and safe, such a sweet little girl. Reminds me of my own daughter, riding her bike. I am not placing blame on her parents, I can only imagine what they are going through. I only want parents in general to think about it. Would you leave your purse, cell phone, something valuable to you outside alone?

If I remember correctly, when you buy a little 2-wheeler bike, you purchase the training wheels separately, in a kit. And most all 2 wheelers are going to have similar training wheels attached. So it might be hard to ID them as being hers, especially if they were new ones, with no identifying marks or scratches.

I can see the possibility of finding some training wheels by the side of a road, because they come off pretty easily. But in a field? That seems very odd.

Ummm probably way above the attic, like out of the house--- like you get sent to outer space...:innocent:

  • #615
yeah, they're talking about it in StL . . . training wheels found. Not sure hers but . . .

  • #616
It would seem that if the training wheels were planted , then the person that planted them must have know exactly where the searchers were going to be or had been looking IMO.

Let's scrutinize two theories.

1. Mom did something with BreeAnn after dad left and before he returned. It seems very unlikely that she could do this without anyone else noticing. She had at least one other child with her and possibly three other children. It's a small town. People probably know her vehicle. And it was broad daylight at about noon. Someone would see her.

2. The dad did something with her. If investigators can determine through interviews and witnesses that BreeAnn was home after her father left, this theory is completely baseless. And this theory also seems unlikely since it would probably require one parent to cover for the other.

Has anyone given the condition of the training wheels? Were they broken or were they in a condition to look like someone had removed them? Sorry if I missed that info somewhere.

  • #619
Wish someone would throw us a bone. Any neighbours/kids see Breann outside that morning?

  • #620
I can't quite see someone hitting a child with their car and being in a frame of mind to instantly scoop up all signs of the accident and racing off and no one sees/hears anything. Plus there should have been significant evidence of an accident, I would think and maybe broken bike parts, blood...well, maybe there was, who knows...

I remember a case where a woman hit a pedestrian and he went through her windshield - she drove home and left him to die in her garage, still stuck in her windshield. People can do some pretty horrific things.
