There is a bike in this picture... obviously I do not know for sure if it is Breeann's bike, that wasn't specified. It is certainly different than the other picture we have seen... but we still have heard nothing more than "a pink bike."
If they had found one EXACTLY like hers... (near her Aunt's house according to her Dad.) http://www.kait8.com/story/15221787/searchers-looking-for-4-year-old-missing-girl
Why not give a more detailed description? Why not release a picture and SAY "this is EXACTLY like Breeann's bike?"

I cannot find a bigger version of this picture... I enlarged it a little bit but if the original is larger that'd be wonderful.
It would also be wonderful if Breeann's parents could produce a picture of her bike. I never saw a follow up earlier from her Uncle.

The handles/grips appear to be light pink with streamers coming from them.
Then regular silver metal for the handlebars going down to where both meet.
It does not appear to have a hand brake on that left handlebar. (Some kids bikes do.)
Then there is a bit of light pink there before it turns purple.
The seat appears to be pink.
The bike appears to be light pink/purple.

I have found several that are very close... but don't have the silver, or do have a hand brake, or something else.
It is probably just slightly different than the models made now. I cannot find the exact bikes my kid's have either. They are different colors.

We have heard nothing about writing on the bike.
What does it say on it? Is it a character bike? Princess, Barbie?
Is is just a "Misty" bike or a "Starburst" a "Magna"... it almost HAS to say something on the side of it.

This one doesn't have the pink between the silver and purple...

I think that the "bike" that she is sitting on in your picture is possibly a tricycle, instead of a bicycle. I agree with everything you have written; and I too wish we had a picture of the bike.

ETA: Something like this - the plastic seat is the giveaway that it is possibly a tricycle.
ETA: I think this one is it!! Radio Flyer Little Miss Flyer Ready-to-Ride Folding Trike

Sometimes parents, kids and bikes have conflicts. Kids leave bikes in driveway, training wheels not working right, child crying about their bike. Maybe someone got mad and removed the training wheels. Maybe something unintentional happened to Breeann in the process. Don't know why the wheels would be found though. Doesn't make sense.

When I heard the interview with the dad last night on NG, he explained how he knew the training wheels were Breann's. He told Nancy that there was a time when the wheels kept getting crooked and he had to keep adjusting them. He said, "I got upset..." and explained how he bent one of the parts to make work.

Now we have him doing most of the talking to the media and the mom doesn't make eye contact or say much.

When NG asks him about the failed polys, he only talks about his wife's poly, then he admits he doesn't believe the cops were telling him the truth when they told him that they failed.

I don't see a stranger messing with removing parts off of a bike two miles down a public road from where the child was abducted.

Maybe someone got angry, tore the wheels off the bike, beat the little girl, and then tried to dispose of it all. If he tossed the bike and the wheels in the back of the truck and took off with the tailgate down, maybe the bike was sliding around too much and bounced out. Get out of the truck, retrieve the bike, toss it back inside, notice one of the wheels that fell off, pick it up, chunk it 30 over the fence and drive off without realizing that the other training wheel was left on the road. If he was going fast when it happened that other wheel may have rolled down into a ditch or across the road where he didn't see it.

I am basing my speculation on the failed LD's and the father's own description of his previous frustration with the training wheels, in addition to the strange discovery of the training wheels only two miles away. I just don't believe a stranger would have messed with the wheels!:twocents:

Good morning Everyone

:praying: Breeann is found today safe and unharmed!!!

What?!!!

I need a link! This is great, and I hope I have to eat my words about my suspicion of the dad!

ETA: CN2souls, I am not seeing this info in the news. Where did you hear this?

I really thought she had been found!!....It looked like you were saying she was found safe and unharmed...:banghead:

Bringing over these two photos I made, of Breeann in a boys cap and short hair.

Why did you fail your polygraphs?

He says when he found out his wife failed , it raised a doubt and in the middle of his sentence, she goes to commercial...

Well I remember when Steve Groene failed the poly badly according to what LE told him and he went public. The FBI had to backtrack big time because of course it started to turn people in town against him when in actual fact he passed.

It seems LE lies about who passes or not to the other family member or the one who took the poly to try and break them in an interview but they don't expect the person to go public with their lie.

I don't trust it when it comes from the family not because they are lying but they are saying what LE told them.

His reasoning makes perfect sense to. Told the wife lied he had a doubt and that showed up if he said he didn't know anyone who would hurt her or whatever the question was.

IMO
p.s. Also grandpa Lunsford also failed poly, another one who was innocent

The finding of the wheels on two different days may have added to any suspicion LE may have...it is pretty weird. Maybe LE knows perfectly well they searched the area where one happens to be the next day (as they indicated at some point.) Maybe one of the parents happened to find the wheel. We don't know what else is going on behind the scenes.

I have been concerned with Mom's story all along. The window of time, whether 20 minutes or 5 minutes, is quite small for a SO to be ready to pounce, in such a small, rural setting. The child has probably been outside lots of times and no one grabbed her. Why on a Satuday morning, when Mom could have been at a window, for all "he" knew?

But then, I am a WS cynic...

LE missed the body and grave of that little girl that an older girl, sister of her friend, killed and put there. They had searched the whole area.

If they can miss a body they can miss training wheels

May I ask you a question, since you have little ones. Do they brush their teeth on their own? Or do you help them? Do you help them get dressed? How about getting breakfast? Do they do that on their own? How the father worded that seems that she did this all by herself. TY.

I have a 4yo and a nearly 3yo. Neither of them sleep past 7:30am every day, but families with different lifestyles may have differetn schedules. A friend has kids the same age and hers sleep until 9:30-10am each day, but they stay up much later, since the father doesn't get home from work until late.

I brush the teeth for both of my kids. My 4yo can dress herself and my 2 1/2yo tries, but I get the clothes out for both, as they are kept in a closet with a doorknob cover on it. Neither one of them gets their own breakfast, but they do not have access to the kitchen.

I do find it odd the way the father worded things, but I suppose it is possible that she does these things on her own. My niece is the same age and very independent. Her parents also give her more access to things, like clothing in dressers she can open. Cereal in cabinets and milk in the fridge that she has access to.

While I find it odd for Breeann, I wouldn't find it completely unreasonable. She also has older siblings that may assist, if the parents aren't around.

This bike in the photo you posted is actually a trike. My children have the same one in primary colors, but we did almost get the pink & purple one for my DD. Here is a picture of the tricycle in that photo...

I have an 8 1/2 year old and a 4 year old. I can't say that they "would never" or "always" do anything because it can change. In general, our youngest has more energy, is more independent, and gets up earlier than our oldest. If our oldest gets up before we do, he *asks* before doing anything - getting cereal, turning on the TV, etc.

HOWEVER, we often wake up and find our 4-year-old: dressed (maybe on backwards, etc), eating cereal in her booster chair at the table (milk/cereal may or may not be spilled all of the place), and watching TV. If she could get physically outside on her own, she would in a heartbeat. She has before and we had to install locks so she could not...

I really have no idea what happened to this precious child - and right now, everyone seems suspicious to me, IMO. The problem I have with the parents being involved is that it's hard to get a 5-year-old child to lie - and consistently repeat a lie for a period of time under questioning, kwim? It would have been easier for them to say they woke up, the door was open, and Breeann was gone, rather than this story about the bike. Again, JMHO.

Isn't the field where the training wheels were found the same field the dogs picked up her scent? I dont think her scent could come from the training wheels alone so she must have been in that field at some point or there is other evindence there that they are picking up her scent from. Maybe the 3rd item they are not disclosing yet?

Transcript Nancy Grace Thursday August 11 2011

GRACE: Edgar, Thank you for being with us. Explain to me how you know for sure that these training wheels are the ones attached, that were attached to her body?

EDGAR RODRIGEZ, BREEANN`S FATHER: Well, we bought her the bike and I put the training wheels on. When she would ride it outside, any type of indentation on the ground the middle wheel would spin because it was supported by the training wheels. And I keep telling myself that I was going to take a wrench and loosen one up. But I never did and one time, I was outside with my daughter and I got upset because she kept having trouble with it. So I told her to get off, and I bent one of the wheel and that way the bike wouldn`t be so wobbly. It`d be supported more on the middle wheel.

And when they told me about it, I told them that they told me how I could identify this training wheel and they showed me one. It had no bend in it. No bend whatsoever. And I told the FBI at that time if that had a bend on the top part of it, the other one should. I didn`t see the other training wheel for about 20 minutes later. And that`s when the FBI pretty much realized and they didn`t have to show it to me. But they did. And that`s when they showed it to me. I 100 percent know. (Inaudible)

GRACE: Right. Mr. Rodriguez, let me ask you. Why do you believe that you and the child`s mother failed your polygraphs?

RODRIGUEZ: I don`t know. Honestly. Honestly, when my wife went in there first to do the polygraph and she failed it. I mean, of course as a father when somebody tells you somebody fails a polygraph, it automatically raises a doubt. You know?

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRACE: The training wheels apparently removed from this little girl`s bike found discarded in a corn field. With me, her father who struggled to get those training wheels on to the bike is convinced these are the training wheels.

To Mr. Edgar Rodriguez, you were explaining your theory as to why you and your wife failed the poly.

RODRIGUEZ: Yes. I mean, I don`t know. I mean to be completely honest with you; I mean I really don`t believe that we did fail it. When they told me, I thought it might have been like some kind of tool the FBI uses to squeeze every drop of information relevant or not you can give them. They just say we failed it. I don`t know why.

So the Dora bike I have seen posted isn't the right bike? That means I wasted a great deal of time looking at bikes for sale on Craigslist. I never saw a Dora bike, but I might have been looking directly at her bike.

Can someone direct me to where it was said that the motehr was sleeping when the father left for the auction? I know I've seen it on here, but I'm not sure I've seen it in MSM.

Have we found out how old the other children in the house are? Are there a total of 3 children or are there 3 in addition to Breeann? So far I know there is a 5yo boy and 3yo Breeann.
