It's Caruthersville fwiw....east of Senath. Still looking for the "Irvel" and Hayti" things.

Does anyone remember where they stated this man worked ? I'll see if I can find the article, brb

Hatyi is just up Highway 84 northwest of Caruthersville. Both near the Mississippi River.

Really sad, why does this keep happening? Thoughts and prayers with the family.

Because this is a screwed up world.

Because the perp is not afraid of being caught, we parents are afraid they will catch us with our guard down.

Because we lock up our children instead of perps.

Because children are inherently trusting and make such easy victims.

I know you didn't expect an answer, but these crimes really get under my skin.

Agree; possibly even videotaped the crime. The DA appears to be confident in the charges.

It's becoming more and more common for parents to have a surveilliance system on their property.....especially if they have children...and for that very purpose. Maybe the grandpa was a very smart man and had cams...and caught little B riding her bike, talking to perp or knocking on his door...then later he comes out with a big plastic bag and puts her bike in his vehicle. ????

Maybe his prints were on the tws or the third piece of evidence. Whether someting from B or the perp---there could be transfer evidence.

I too want to know if they impounded his car and when. Maybe there were marks/scraps/damage on his vehicle from either an accident and he tried to touch it up.

??

It's possible either LE or a family member found a trophy in the house. Each killer keeps a trophy from each of their murders so they can relive the event. IMO

Okay. How bout this lol. Since there's no abduction or kidnapping charge, I have to toss that he filmed her murder.

How about she goes to his house, goes in his garage, or is in his driveway, he pulls up, doesn't see her, runs her over. She's badly injured, he panics, and he suffocates her.

LE finds evidence on the car - blood, tissue, etc, that supports that part of his story.

So how do they know he suffocated her - they can't just take his word for it. Well, what if they have a security system on the house that films the area of the garage or driveway or wherever this happened?

Evidence tampering could be that he took the car to a car wash maybe?

I think that accounts for the charges we have - and the ones we don't have (e.g. abduction/kidnapping) - except... armed criminal action.

We'd need to know two things - was the car impounded, and do they have a security system with cameras on their house. And we'd need to account for that armed criminal action - unless the weapon for that was, as cluciano mentioned, perhaps a pillow or plastic bag.

This is driving me out of my mind and I know my head is going to be going for hours when I go to bed.

Jinx BeanE.

I wonder if his wife and kids stayed at the home with him after Breeana disappeared.

Did she suspect him? Did she know he was a pervert? Was she afraid of him?

I just can't imagine how he was able to rape and murder a child in his home, conceal the body and the bike, probably shower and change clothes, clean up any crime scene and act normal a couple of hours later when the cops showed up.

Even if the wife and kids were away from the house that morning, didn't she notice something was wrong when she came home?

I don't have much faith in house to house searches. I think that when police do that, they just take a quick glance and leave. There are so many places in a home where a child could be concealed! This is as frustrating to me as the problem of LE calling missing kids runaways instead of kicking it into high gear and finding the child!

I'm not sure either, but when I googled hayti or carutherville it is coming up with small towns, perhaps " Irvel" is another small town in the area :waitasec:

Irvel is with an "L" - l r v e l could be a misspelling of l e v e l which possibly should have been levee.

Re flooding in June:Sandbags weighing 1,000 pounds each and dumped by helicopter have delayed the full breach of a Missouri River levee,

TGIRecovered,

There has been no evidence or LE statement that there was any sexual molestation or rape at this time, to my knowledge. HTH

We are just going to have to wait and see what LE will share regarding how this all happened. When I look at the street and the houses so close together, how could someone not hear something?

Or see it.

Someone just posted a comment to the YouTube video I created and it might OR might not be what actually happened.

Breeann Rodriguez: Arrest Made - Still Looking For Breeann (INFO ONLY!!) - YouTube (see comment by manriquez98)

"If'' this scenario is correct...all I can say is what an idiot! Who accidentally injures a child in a hit & run accident and then picks up the child, suffocates them and then disposes of them like garbage? Does this kind of thing actually happen...? :-/

I just can't wrap my brain around that one...so senseless that I almost hope that is not the case and he was the average perp who saw Breeann as an opportunity to fulfill his demented desires.

All I can think of tonight is Breeann's parents tonight and the anguish they must be enduring tonight. I pray for comfort to surround the Rodriguez family tonight and the long days ahead...:praying:

It makes a little sense at this point based on LE indicating that Breeann was suffocated.

Wow! My big problem with the scenario given is who (besides CFCA) makes an accident into a murder? I can see someone who has been busted saying this is how it happened but just can't wrap my head around anyone doing such a heinous thing to a young child involved in an accident. Running away yes, people panic hit and run. But to callously pickup a young child you just accidently injured and murder them? Who could do such a thing?
