Seems weird to me. He may have become a suspect for some unknown reason and then "confessed" to suffocating her to put her out of her misery, after he "accidentally" ran over her. But criminals often try to minimize their crimes, even while confessing.

My bet is he kidnapped her, sexually abused and then killed her. During interrogation, they may have given him an out that he took: "Look man, maybe it was an accident. Accidents happen. That doesn't make you a bad guy. We just need to know what happened so there can be some closure to this, okay?"

It is hard for me to accept the accidental running over of the child for two main reasons. One, it seems unusual that nobody would have seen or heard something like that. But mainly, why would LE call it murder 1 by suffocation? Wouldn't they say that she was run
over by a car? And then they could charge him with murder one if he did actually suffocate her.

But here is what I don't get about that. WHY would he tell the cops she was still alive and so he killed her? Why wouldn't he just say she died in the accident and so he disposed of her body? Something about this accident /suffocation story makes no sense. imoo

Okay. How bout this lol. Since there's no abduction or kidnapping charge, I have to toss that he filmed her murder.

How about she goes to his house, goes in his garage, or is in his driveway, he pulls up, doesn't see her, runs her over. She's badly injured, he panics, and he suffocates her.

LE finds evidence on the car - blood, tissue, etc, that supports that part of his story.

So how do they know he suffocated her - they can't just take his word for it. Well, what if they have a security system on the house that films the area of the garage or driveway or wherever this happened?

Evidence tampering could be that he took the car to a car wash maybe?

I think that accounts for the charges we have - and the ones we don't have (e.g. abduction/kidnapping) - except... armed criminal action.

We'd need to know two things - was the car impounded, and do they have a security system with cameras on their house. And we'd need to account for that armed criminal action - unless the weapon for that was, as cluciano mentioned, perhaps a pillow or plastic bag.

This is driving me out of my mind and I know my head is going to be going for hours when I go to bed.

Good thoughts, but...from I understand, he is charged with 1st degree murder. Does that not involve some sort of planning? Stuff like this happens, but is very rare. Been a few hrs since I have read here but from what I have read, my thoughts...he doesn't have a violent criminal record ...he's a creep who just hasn't been caught yet, or just hasn't acted on sick fantasies yet. I don't believe for one second that there is a even somewhat innocent explanation for what happened to Breeann.

What even remotely sane minded person would act this way?

Runs over and and panics doesn't = 1st degree murder.

Ugh, I gotta go back and read. I think the lck of charges equal the laack of evidencce at this point. I believe he's a typical 🤬🤬🤬 who preys on children. There are too many out there, and plenty out there that we don't know about yet.

It makes a little sense at this point based on LE indicating that Breeann was suffocated.

I wonder if he was under the influence of alcohol or something such as that. I can't even wrap my head around him trying to come up with any "excuse" other than self-preservation. If this truly started out as an accident, there had to be SOME reason he automatically went into cover up mode. Do we know if he has a drivers license???

Like I posted, it may or may not be the way it all happened.

  • #406
If that really happened, it would seems there should be a little blood on the street where it happened. I suppose hitting a small child wouldn't make a loud noise for someone to hear. It sure would seem someone would have seen it though. Maybe it didn't happen on her street. The police chief did mention people posting things that weren't true, so maybe this is just another one of those things. jmo

Except, what do you really think the odds are that this man confessed to this poster's Dad? I think nil...

For now, I'm not buying that scenario...it's just too senseless.

Someone just posted a comment to the YouTube video I created and it may OR maybe not be what actually happened.

Snip. This is pretty much the same thing I posted earlier on my sisters take of this. Like I said, as horrid as it is, its a lot more comforting than what Im imagining.
Its just too hard to wrap my head around an otherwise functioning/productive member of society for 40+years, a husband, father of 3 in a quiet, peaceful subdivision preying on our babies and---- none suspects a thing.

I will be interested to know if this man actually assisted in any fashion with the search for Breeann or was at her Vigil the other night?

You would be surprised how many people come and post on the videos that have a direct connection with the family of the missing. They need an outlet and whether it is what happened or not, it is something to think about, as we have thought of so many other reasons why this happened to Breeann.

People panic, and when they do, they do not think clearly at all.

  • #412
It doesn't sound true to me, because of the charges...but as far as accidents being turned into murders or abductions, there really is no way to know, with the missing children who are never found...some of them could be victims of home accidents that resulted in panic. It could happen...

For me, it's almost worse...who does this? Who picks up the child you just ran over who is "still" alive (tho' perhaps barely) and then puts the child out of it's misery like you would a stray animal on the side of the road? Breeann was not roadkill...she was a human being who deserved her life to be saved!

He was a father of three children himself...senseless!:banghead:

TGIRecovered,

There has been no evidence or LE statement that there was any sexual molestation or rape at this time, to my knowledge. HTH

I'm not caught up and wish I knew what you're quoting, but...how can LE make a statement about sexual abuse when they haven't found this baby girl to examine her yet?

But I still do not get why he would tell the police that he ran her over, butr she was still alive so he suffocated her. Why not just tell the cops she died in the accident? HUGE difference in the punishment between the two situations.

I can understand (not agree with tho') the idea of a child injured fatally at home through negligence and the parent panicking to the point that they lie about an abduction and dispose of their child...although, still I would rather think that a parent couldn't bare to do that to their child :(

No loving father of 3 children, in his right mind, would suffocate a child that was accidentally run over. IMO

Could she have been behind his vehicle and he did not see her as he was backing out? Sure.
Could he have accidentally hit her and she hit her head with very little noise and no scream?
Sure.
Would his first instinct be to (possibly) haul her and the bike in the garage and suffocate her?
I think not.

But if so...How cruel...and seemingly sociopathic.

Armed Criminal Action - Could be the vehicle
First degree murder - Suffocation

  • #420
It certainly would explain why his past history does not scream murderer or pedophile.
So many are jumping to the conclusion that he was a predator, and I just don't think we have enough from LE or his back ground to go there.

But IF he did suffocate her because she did not die from the accident, then he IS A MURDERER. imoo
