Add to that the fact that the three year old was on a bike, in the street, with no parental supervision, and it is very unlikely that the driver would have faced any charges at all for hitting her!

I'm not buying that theory. This happened on Saturday morning on a street with (reportedly) plenty of other kids. Mom says she could glance out the window and see her riding her bike. IMO, there is no way he could have run over the child, got out, picked her up put her in the car, (still alive but hurt), go back for the bike, put it in the car or his garage, and no one saw or heard any of it.

It's not like this happened early before poeple were out and about. It must have happened 10:30-11am. People were awake, the weather was fine, window curtains and blinds would be open.

TY That's what I think too. He would have made some kind of crunching noise or scraping noise because of the bike and likely there was blood. He would have picked up her body and crunched bicycle and put them somewhere, in his yard or house. He would have had to pick up BOTH the child's body and bicycle at the same time to hide them if his first instinct was to hide the fact that he hit a kid instead of yelling out for help. I don't believe this scenario for this particular day and time. Someone would have seen something. JMO

I agree Matou, no one makes an accident in to a murder...

I believe that they discovered him by going house to house and interviewing the people. I think #672 at the scanner thread is important in this...

It seems like to me if he had hit her with his car, there would have been evidence at the spot that happened at. Her parents were out so quick looking for her, and then LE arrived in a short amount of time, I'm not sure he would have had time to clean that up KWIM? And if it happened out in the road or something, I can't help but believe someone would have noticed blood or something. He would have almost had to have hit her in his garage, and even then...I just don't know that that fits. I guess stranger things have happened. If this post makes no sense, excuse me, I'm on 1/2 a cup...I need like 12 more to be fully awake!

There is no way I believe he hit Breeann with his car! There were other children out playing, neighbors confirmed seeing Breeann and other children playing only moments before she disappeared. I just believe someone would have seen an accident, if indeed there was an accident. There is no logical reason anyone would not call 911 if indeed they hit a child with their car. And if there was just an innocent accident, why set about trying to throw LE off by disassembling the bicycle and planting the training wheels. Who does that! Certainly not someone who accidentally hit a child on a bike. In the now famous words of Dr. G. "no one makes an accident look like a murder." IMO there is way more to this tragedy than an innocent accident.

BBM

..if she was "simply" hit by his car-----wouldn't that be an accident?

..i thought that vehicular homicide involved speeding, driving under the influence, reckless driving and that type of thing?

..i do realize that premeditated murder can occur in an instant, but i just don't see why he didn't call 911 if he accidentally ran her over?

..i can't see why, if still alive-----that he would suffocate her?

( maybe i'm just being too naive.it just doesn't make any sense.)

..i pray that they find her little body----then we'll know if he did/didn't do more than 'just' suffocate her.

In most states, Vehicular homicide - involves death that results from the negligent operation of a vehicle.

It doesn't have to be because someone is under the influence of alcohol or drugs etc.

BBM. That's for sure - we know it's not an innocent accident, because the guy's already been charged with first degree murder, and the prosecutor said he murdered Breeann by suffocation - not by striking her with the vehicle.

I was up and down a lot last night, and one scenario I was considering was if he struck her with car, and she was crying, and he put his hand over her mouth so no one would hear her cries, then decided to leave his hand there and suffocate and murder her, rather than deal with the reaction of her parents, family, law, consequences, etc.

Regarding blood evidence on the ground, there doesn't necessarily have to be blood, or a lot of blood, from a car accident. If there was, he may have quickly cleaned it up with bleach, and made excuses to family for any residual stains.

I can however see him trying to SAY that is what happened...hitting her with a car sounds much better than what probably happened.

A father of three has been charged with first-degree murder in the case of Breeann Rodriguez, the 3-year-old who went missing on Aug. 6 while riding her pink bicycle in her Senath, Mo., neighborhood.

<snipped>
"Morgan is charged with causing the death of Breeann Rodriguez, 3-years old, also of Senath, by suffocating her," Sokoloff told ABC affiliate KAIT-TV.

There was a report that items were taken from the home,(computers) but has there been a statement about his vehicle(s) being seized? What about him using a new or different car since she went missing?

  • #514
I just feel in the depth of my soul that what happened to Breeann regarding being hit etc., just might be what happened. Perhaps this is where my mind wants it to be right now in order not to go into deeper theories of it could be this to get this from a child.

Does anyone have a google map of the street?

It is likely that this person who killed Breeann finds it much easier to take ownership of the fact that he suffocated her to death than to admit that he sexually assaulted her. And I believe that was his whole motive for killing this child... MOO I hope they find Breeann and refurn her home soon....

I hate to say this

However,

I will find it VERY odd if he only suffocated this little angel

Totally agree. It couldn't have been anything else....from the beginning we knew what we were dealing with. It was just waiting to find out who it was. Now we know who. Now they need to bring her home to her family. IMO

Why would he claim that she was still alive after he ran her over if he did?

Where was this man's family that morning/afternoon when Breeann was killed? If they were away, I find this story of her being run over WAY to convenient for him. If they were away, I would think there is a different scenario to this.
