Thank you.

When I look at the google map street view, 6 houses is still pretty far based on the length of the homes etc. :furious:

I just mapped the distance and it is about a tenth of a mile, the size of a small city block. My little guy would think nothing of going that distance (if I would let him.)

With the father stating that she was kind of shy, it got me to thinking that she'd stay closer to the house to wait for her older brother to come back. Part of me is thinking that being shy, she'd be a little afraid to head on down the street on her own. No she obviously got down there somehow, but I'm remembering my kids at 3 & 6 and the younger one would always kind of do whatever the older one did.

I don't know, kat, I just can't imagine why a LE officer would put that in there, if that's not what he said, what would the purpose of that be?

When cops were looking for her, the description was ' Mexican female child' or something close to that. Police reports always use terms like that. So I can see the report written in that way. I am not sure who said what in that report. It is not made very clear, imo.

At this point, I can believe either motive, sexual perversion or anger.

If he uses stimulant drugs, is of low mental capacity, and has a history of impulse control, these all lend credence to either possibility.

Maybe Breanne had been shooed out of the backyard swimming pool area before, maybe he looked out, saw her there 'again', and in a moment of meth-fueled rage and poor impulse control, ran out and held her head under the water. Maybe he then couldn't keep her from screaming, so clamped a hand over her mouth and carried her inside. Maybe he put the bike AND her in garbage bags in the back of his truck just to get her out of there. If he is of low mental capacity, I can see him doing this just to keep from getting in trouble, strange as that seems. I have worked with such folks and seen this kind of infantile thinking. If he was also a 'harmless' sociopath who needed strong exterior boundaries and conscience residing outside of self rather than inside where it is for MOST of us (church attendence, regular job, wife and kids w/expectations and consequences), then his wife being gone for a short period might have been enough to let loose a sort episode of possible drug/alcohol use and extremely poor impulse control, whether sexual deviance or rage or both.

I hope he did not have horribly sick fantasies fueled by details released in other crimes, like precious angel Jessica Lunsford. For sadists, those details can be played over and over in their minds until they decide to seize an opportunity to live them out. Hope he is NOT a sexual sadist pervert.

What kind of changes must we, as a society, make to stem this epidemic of sickness? To start, I believe the most base horror flicks should be banned/restricted. When sexually emerging adolescents ( and younger) are at that "imprinting" stage, that stuff can set their sexual arousal patterns toward sadistic violence.

Recognizing the sociopaths and impulse-impaired among us, even though they have yet to commit violent crimes, would be a good step also. You can't arrest anyone until they've committed a crime, but you sure can limit their opportunities to do so.

Bless this family and community, who must all be reeling from shock and whose innocence is now lost forever.

What exactly is a "bit of a racist"?
Either someone is or isn't a racist, IMO...

I think it might just be a sarcastic way of calling someone a racist.

1st story was he hit her with vehicle
2nd story Breeann was using his toilet
3rd story is that Breeann was on his pool ladder.
SM trying to make up stories as he goes along.
IMO he lured her, took her, did the unimagineable to her, murdered her and threw her away......................
He is garbage and does not deserve to breathe our air!

SM suppose to be Christian?
Well being racist of a baby girl isn't Christian.
May he burn in hello...............

The descriptions I've seen, and just found on Google are Hispanic, not Mexican.

It's clear to me that the LEO is giving his sworn affidavit of what the perp said to him, but then, I've followed a lot of these cases. This is definitely an affidavit - a probable cause affidavit - and not a police report or a missing person report.

I think that the pool ladder excuse is just another way for him to try to give an altruistic reason he grabbed her in the first place. It sounds as if he wants LE to think that he grabbed her for a good reason: to keep her from falling into the pool.

Maybe he thought that the charges wouldn't be as serious if he said he grabbed her for a good reason then accidentally lost his temper. Maybe he saw the Casey Anthony trial and he is already thinking up a sob story to feed a gullible jury. Copycat!

For all we know, he may have lured her to the backyard by saying "wanna come see my pool? "

If he just wanted to kill her and not do unspeakable things to her, why didn't he just drown her in his pool. It could then be ruled an accident and nothing would happen to him? I know it sounds dreadful, but his story does not make any sense unless he did molest her. jmo

It's a figure of speech that is not intended to be complimentary.

The affidavit in this article, definitely says he discovered a Mexican female B.R standing on the ladder at the pool in his back yard.

I thought the exact same thing. Just didn't know how to put it into words.

In the affadivit, it says " During the interview, Morgan stated that he discovered a Mexican female, BR, standing on the ladder at his pool in the backyard."

I cannot see him saying to the police " I saw a Mexican female on my pool ladder." I do not believe that. I think the cop was just describing the situation in cop-speak. imoo

I think it is much more likely that he said " I saw HER standing on my pool ladder." And the cop put the other identifying terms in there. I think this was a sexual crime, not a racial/hate crime. imoo

Are we sure those were HIS words? I thought the 'mexican female' was 'cop-speak.' It sounds more like the way LE writes up their reports, imo.

I think this was sexually motivated. He found a vulnerable little girl in his yard and acted upon the opportunity, imo.

LE will generally use the term "Hispanic" or sometimes "Latin American" to describe a person's ethnicity.

"Mexican" is a nationality. If Breeann was born in the U.S.A. she's an American. Just to clarify.
