Have they ever said what the third piece of evidence found Wednesday was? They didn't arrest SM until Friday night, but possibly this unnamed evidence is what directed them toward him. If so, it would also explain why ER, Breeann's father, might have a person upon whom to seek retaliation. If the third bit of evidence implicated SM, they might not want ER to know about it until they had enough for an arrest. Which, they obviously eventually did.

Also, thinking about the LE who said the evidence was leading them, "In circles" I took that to mean, literally around in a circle, and back where they started, on her own street. (at the time I admit, I thought it might implicate the parents, but we clearly know who now, and the circle analogy fits either way)

bbm...I believe LE lied to the parents. I don't believe the parents lied during the test - about anything.

and it appears to me breeann's dad also believed he was lied to by LE when he talked about their test results on the nancy grace show.

That's just so wrong. The poor dad couldn't understand why his wife failed and I clearly recall how sincere he was on Nancy Grace about the failed polygraphs issue. He kept saying ...honestly, Nancy...he clearly didn't understand and then he surmised that the cops were digging for more info.

Imagine the stress. Each parent doubting each other in such a horrific situation. So sad

Where was the supervision?? Has the people not learned yet that you leave your babies unattended and this is what happens.. There are predators in each and every one of our neighborhoods..yes even the upscale neighborhoods you better bet your bottom dollar that there are predators who prey on children there just as well as the middle income neighborhoods and the lower income neighborhoods... Nowhere is safe to allow your babies to ever be unsupervised.. what is it going to take for this to be realized by parents????

You mentioned 1985, that is the year an 8 yr old was kidnapped and murdered in my town.

These cases happen anywhere, anytime, always have and sorry to say but, always will!

I always had faith in polygraphs but after what happened here, I don't trust them anymore for any other cases. Now I understand why some refuse to take them. I wouldn't. Imagine if this perp wasn't caught? We'd be forever wondering about those "failed" polys and the parents involvement.

Taught me a lesson not to judge even if one fails. Billie Dunn comes to mind.

I learnt that lesson with Steve Groene, Shasta and Dylan's dad. He came out and said he failed, but then the FBI had to clear him because their lie made him more of a target of suspicion in the area and of course LE was being asked why he wasn't arrested. Or should i say the "corrected" the statement...i don't think they were thrilled their attempt at breaking him backfired.

It was purely an investigative technique to see if he would confess. Of course it was that maggot Joe Duncan and I am being cruel to maggots here.

I read the new report on Yahoo, that she was on the ladder of his pool in his yard, and that is why he killed her. I also feel this is racially motivated, because I looked up the percentage of hispanics in Senath Missouri and there are not many, most of the town is white. I think probably these kids came in his yard before, and he didn't like it, so this time when he saw she was alone, he was going to take action and send a message to the hispanic family. This sounds like something that would happen here in Alabama, where it is very racist against Mexican people. This is sick and I hope he fries for this.

Please dear God let her be found today. I pray for Breeann's parents-----how would you feel knowing that your Princess was stuffed into a plastic bag and just tossed. I pray every moment for LE to find this sweet innocent and bring her home!!!! I also am praying for the Morgan children and the wife----they had absolutely nothing to do with this. I hope their friends and church members can support them. And, yes I wish Shawn would plead guilty for everyone's sake. The victim's family and his own family do not need to go thru the spectacle thjis trial would be. Unfortunately most of these Perp's don't have the balls to plead guilty. MOO

I think that's a good idea. Let's all light a candle, say a prayer and keep a warm, loving but strong focus on her being found today. Precious little one needs to come home to family.

I hope they put the clamps to him last night since it was reported he was no longer cooperating. Telling. imo

Oh I honestly think that it's a lot more than racially motivated. I think that was just the terminology he used. From what I read, his children have played with the Rodriguez children on numerous occasions before, so very unlikely he would have murdered her for that reason, or that reason alone. I think there was a sexually motivated reason for killing her as well, and at a minimum, unfortunately.

I honestly hope they find this child quickly! I am hoping (sorry for the graphic) that because she was "thrown away like a piece of trash" (Caylee) wrapped in a garbage bag, that somehow, some way, that will be the complete unravelling of this man. I am praying the evidence remains contained in that bag!!!! :burn:

I don't think a sexual predator would have even mentioned the race of the child, the fact that he mentioned her race and did so by saying "Mexican" and not Hispanic speaks volumes to me.

It also makes sense to me as to how he could kill her and dispose of her body in so little time. The time frame shortens when you remove the possibility of a sexual act. Racists see those they hate as none human, without emotion and definitely feel they have no human rights....to put it bluntly like a pesky rodent that needs to be eliminated.

One might think, why not just push her in the pool and let her drown so it looked like an accident? Oh no, a racist wouldn't do that because they wouldn't want their pool contaminated.

Racism infuriates me, it is so sick and so not the way a modern day society should behave.

I'm not going to hold too much importance on the word Mexican in the affidavit since it is immediately followed by the word "female". I doubt he would have referred to Breeann as a 'female' instead of using 'girl' or 'little girl'. JMO

They seemed to be going over his house with a fine tooth comb yesterday. I noticed they even had the attic stairs lowered in the carport to check it out. I wonder if the scaffolding in front of the house was there before or if LE is using it?

You know..I think this could be it!....If they find nothing untoward on his PC and nothing in his past that suggests sexual abuse..then this could be it.
