I wish they wouldn't have gone through with her mother's murder.

I would have loved to see her mother get arrested and interrogated by LE and the Trial etc.

Interview with her step-mom yesterday. Sounds like the marraige is still going strong, and hopefully remains that way.

“I wanted to be free of her hold on me,” Gypsy testified at the 2018 trial of her former boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn of Big Bend, Wisconsin, who is serving a life sentence in the killing. She went on to add: “I talked him into it.”

When she took the stand at his trial, prosecutors already had cut her a deal because of the abuse she had endured. In exchange for pleading guilty in 2016 to second-degree murder, she was sentenced to 10 years in prison. The first-degree murder charge she initially faced would have meant a life term.

“Nick was so in love with her and so obsessed with her that he would do anything,” Godejohn’s trial attorney Dewayne Perry argued in court, saying his client has autism and was manipulated.

Picked up by her husband per the DM:

Ryan Scott Anderson, the teacher she married behind bars last year, pulled into the Chillicothe Correctional Center in northern Missouri to pick her up at 3:20am.

His Cadillac sedan, with a Bret 'the Hitman' Hart wrestling decal across the front license plate cover, emerged minutes later to whisk Gypsy away for her first night of freedom at a budget hotel.

I sure wanna know everything -- but more than that, I want the abused little girl to have a chance at a much, much more normal life....

Now known as "Factitious disorder imposed on another," it is suspected this disorder is what caused Dee Dee to lie to friends, family, charities, doctors and even Gypsy herself, convincing everyone her daughter was severely ill and much younger than she was.

Dee Dee went as far as to convince Gypsy she was unable to walk, breathe or eat normally, requiring a wheelchair, feeding tube and oxygen. It was later proven Gypsy was capable of walking, eating and breathing unassisted.

Dee Dee's medical abuse of Gypsy began when she was just 8 years old, at which time she said her daughter had been diagnosed with leukemia and muscular dystrophy and needed a wheelchair and feeding tube, among other medical accommodations.

Her propensity for reporting her daughter as being sick started even earlier, when Dee Dee insisted Gypsy experienced sleep apnea as an infant soon after birth. Dee Dee also later insisted Gypsy had seizures, asthma, and hearing and visual issues and had doctors prescribe medications and perform surgeries for these conditions.

Gypsy and her boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, later devised a plan to escape Dee Dee, resulting in her death via stabbing. Following the murder, Gypsy was sentenced to 10 years and has since become a well-known figure, granting interviews about her life and crimes and becoming the subject of documentaries and television shows like "Mommy Dead and Dearest" and "The Act."

I cannot imagine the abuse that Gypsy suffered that the hands of her mother. All of those medical procedures, was not even one doctor concerned? So many people watched and loved both Gypsy and DeeDee. I am very glad she didn’t marry her co-conspirator. She didn’t need to be trauma bonded to her husband- it would have been much harder to move on with a healthy life.

I wish Gypsy a remaining life of normalcy and love without strings! I very sincerely hope she has received counseling to combat what she was taught from such a young age.

Whenever a doctor expressed concern that this was indeed MSBP, Dee Dee would fire them and go somewhere else.

I can see how muscular dystrophy can be faked, but leukemia? I don't understand that.

Gypsy Rose is beginning a new life with a certain amount of celebrity like she had years ago when exploited by her mother. I hope she can embrace moderation and humility and continue with regular counseling. IMO. Wishing her comfort and happiness.

Many people are suspicious of her husband. I don't know what to think, since I don't know them personally.

I don't know either of them either so...
My best hope is that they're both determined to make a normal (as much as is possible), good life for themselves.

I only want all the best for this young woman, and everyone in her life.

This seems odd:

“Days after she was freed from a Missouri prison after serving time for her role in her mother’s death, Gypsy Rose Blanchard has been ordered to leave the state — where she’d hoped to meet up with her favorite musician, Taylor Swift, at an NFL game”

“Why Blanchard and her family were asked by her parole officer to leave Missouri so quickly isn’t clear — but sources told TMZ that law enforcement officials expressed concerns she was a security risk in the Kansas City area.

Since her release from prison, Blanchard has garnered a great deal of media attention, chatting it up with local paparazzi and posing for photos with fans while out in public.”

The New York Daily News is about as reliable as The Daily Mail in England, FYI.

Maybe there's something else going on that we don't know about.

Step-mom is positive about him in a video interview. She & Dad met him, and his parents.

Currently, no parole violation listed on Ms. Anderson's CaseNet, but CNN requested records:

Some interesting activity on the docket, imho.

That link doesn't work for me. What's the interesting activity?

She's on parole for 2 years and she's going to be living in Louisiana so there is no reason for her to stick around in Missouri.

She has to go to the state where she will be residing in.
