She asked for followers & has 6.5 million on Tik Tok. That translates into a huge payout. Is this all her plan or her husband’s? And she’s writing a book and filming a documentary. So she is throwing herself into every type of self promotion & public exposure. To what end? I honestly find the whole thing really disturbing.

Same, it is disturbing. She lacks self awareness and emotional intelligence. She is going all in to being a hero and celebrity. The things she is saying as well as her choice for clothing speak volumes.

Her desire for attention is so immature and manipulative. This isn’t going to end well for her. She won’t be in the limelight forever and it seems that is what she wants.

It’s hard to find reputable news sources with any details. Articles say he’s “a teacher”, but never anything else. You can say you’re ”a teacher“ even when you don’t currently hold a teaching job, ya know? I wonder if his job has been setting up this social & traditional media blitz? Sadly, I don't even think Gypsy herself knows what are lies and what really happened.
She was so young when her mom started brainwashing her, who's to say it wasn't her own mom who told her "grandpa" sexually abused her, when it never happened?

Obviously I'm not saying it couldn't have happened but it's hard to know what's real with this young woman since almost everything SHE believed about herself was a complete lie, courtesy of her psychopathic mother. I do tend to believe anything Gypsy says about her childhood is proably not true.

TBH, I'm surprised that Dee Dee didn't try to coach Gypsy into saying that her paternal relatives all did that to her, although she may not have done it because she knew this would be a one-way ticket to custody loss, even in the 1990s.

I’ve never heard he isn’t currently teaching and I doubt he could be fired for revealing he was dating GRB. My husband was a teacher and teachers aren’t generally fired for their relationships, unless there’s something in his contract we don’t know about. But you’re right that he could be called a teacher even if he isn’t currently employed.

ETA: Just following up on Ryan Anderson’s employment after doing a little more research. It seems that he was employed as a teacher at the time they received their marriage license in 2022. If he is still teaching, he would have been on Christmas break when he picked Gypsy up from prison. But whether he is still teaching is anyone’s guess.

So I’m just watching the third episode of The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and they used the term Stockholm Syndrome!

I can’t believe this term is still used even with abduction survivors like Jaycee Dugard speaking out against it!
