Found Deceased MO - Darnell Gray, 4, Jefferson City, 24 Oct 2018 *Arrest*

My son is 6 and he won't go into the bathroom at night without me turning the light on for him.
I still have to dress him most days or at least help him.
I also would have zero clue if there would be juice or cookies missing but I do have 5 kids.

I do really hope he did simply take off, maybe missing his parents and wanted to go home, or didn't like how he was treated by the care giver so wanted away from that person. I pray he's found alive and ok.

If that’s the case, it’s almost always announced right away. It’s incredibly important that the public be made aware of that fact.

A side note, I just wondered recently during the Eden Hines case if some kids that do wonder off could be undiagnosed.

Iirc the washer was taken in Lucas Hernandez’ case? This is often SP re: items confiscated during a SW when FP is suspected.

Search efforts continue for missing Jefferson City boy

Darnell is described as black, about 4 feet tall and weighing about 50 pounds. He has light-colored, short hair, two missing front teeth and Mongolian spots on his back and legs. He was last seen wearing a black and white sleeper, black Mickey Mouse coat, hat and gloves, red spider man Velcro shoes and possibly has a Black Panther backpack.

The parents can be in denial. We have kids we know are on the spectrum and the parents shrug it off as quirkinesses.

I was shocked at how little information was discussed in the PC. I came away thinking Darnell was staying with a caregiver, no mention of the parents. The fact there was an arrest made at the caregivers home during approx. this same time seems remarkably coincidental??!!! How is this caregiver known to Darnell?

Where are Darnell's parents and immediate family? Why haven't they spoken up? If my 4 year old was missing you'd have to put me in a straight jacket and a muzzle to keep me quiet.

This is confusing me...he was last seen wearing sleeper, hat, gloves, shoes and maybe carrying a backpack. So was he actually SEEN wearing these things, or just seen wearing the sleeper but his hat, gloves, shoes and backpack are missing? Because the former would be odd, the latter making more sense.

I live literally next door to KOMU8. It is the only TV station owned by a University (of Missouri School of Journalism). Many students have left Columbia to go help with the search. Something is going on behind the scenes I believe. The regular reporter that is in Jeff City is not on air so he must be digging in the background (so to speak).
