Taking the lives of our precious children needs to stop! I am in tears and sick to my stomach. Violence doesn't stop violence but I so want to break the person that did this into little pieces. I am so angry. This beautiful little boy is dead. Someone needs to pay for this, and I hope it's soon. Something has to be done...something far stronger than is currently being done to those that abuse and murder our children.

The first time I read the statement I missed the double negative and thought it said there was no one they were looking at. Now that I see it correctly (Duh!) it makes me think that LE has someone in their radar.

Williams said investigators were now ready to "finish what we started." He said he personally notified Gray's mother while investigators notified the boy's father. He said he did not know if the boy's caretaker had been notified of the death.

My bolding. So did we ever find out if the caretaker/stepmother is married to Darnell's dad or if she's a girlfriend?

ETA: If, as Seattle1 says, Darnell was found 4 miles away in an area not previously searched it may be that someone has started talking. MOO.

I am so sad to read this outcome. Though I expected it after DG wasn't found on first day, still, it's devastating news. I expect LE to move swiftly to make an arrest. I'm sure they have someone in mind. I do. Rest in eternal peace baby boy. (To me, he IS a baby.)

I have not read anything yet... I had an overly emotional afternoon, evening and morning with my oldest son because of one of his friends had a major medical emergency... life or death... I am just now popping in to check up on Hazana, Darnell & Jayme.... when I see “FOUND DECEASED” on little man Darnell’s thread.... I am just sick.... I don’t know if I have anymore tears for today... my heart aches.... I am going to read now...

Darnell - Go find Ethan... he will teach you everything you need to know about heaven. He has lots of friends up there too. His Grandma & Grandpa are there with him and they love to go on adventures with him. He loves Spongebob but you can tell him all about the Black Panther! Give him a high 5 and some knuckles from his mom, dad & brothers! Tell him we love him forever & ever & always! Thank you Darnell! Love you too little guy! High 5 kiddo!
