All—thank you so much for sharing the #AMBERalert! Eli and Viktor were located in Brookshire, TX, about an hour ago. Viktor was arrested on the warrant issued for parental kidnapping, and most importantly, Eli is safe and sound. We and Texas authorities are continuing our investigation and can’t speculate on potential charges at this time. Thank you to all the agencies in Texas and all those over a 4-state area who assisted us! Merry Christmas!

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. --*Police say they have found a father and son, the subjects of an Amber Alert out of Springfield, in Texas.

Police arrested Viktor Anatolievich Bandurovskiy. Police say his son Eli, 1, is safe and unharmed. Investigators say they found the two in Brookshire, Texas. That is located about 35 miles west of Houston.

Police say he is the biological father. Investigators say the two left the Motel 6 at 2655 North Glenstone Avenue in Springfield Friday. Police believed the two had been headed to Houston. Bandurovskiy cell phone pinged from the Houston area.

Springfield Police are currently working with Texas authorities. No charges have been filed at this time.

The Springfield Police Department said the baby was unharmed, and Viktor was arrested on a warrant issued Sunday for parental kidnapping.

Authorities between Missouri and Texas are continuing their investigation, but declined to say what charges Viktor may face.

I am so glad he's ok. Hopefully it was just a case of wanting to spend christmas with him.... not any intentions to harm him. I also.hope those threats were reported accurately, no as an excuse to make the police act more quickly.
