I am also confused by this. We know from LE and media quotes that the police were called around 7. It would then take them 5 minutes to arrive at EO's house. They would talk to her for a short time before going to AB's house.

ILC, Did the family go to vist EO's family before or after the police came to AB's house? I was originally under the impression it was before, but the last bit of info confused me.

ILC responded to this by saying they went to EO's house after LE came. That post is gone too!!

ILC responded to this by saying in his opinion his friend saying 6:30 could really mean anywhere from 6:30-6:45. Where did his post go? Did he delete it????

He also responded to my post saying that LE came over to AB's before the family went to EO's.

According to those accounts AB now has to be back at her house by 6:40 to 6:50 (not enough time to bury a body by herself in my opinion). Then she wouldn't have gotten in the shower yet because supposedly she did that while her family was at EO's. This is not adding up correctly IMO.

I'm gonna start snipping ILC's posts into Word, so I have his info before he deletes them!

Can we sleuth the boyfriend of AB?

I've heard his initials are DN, but I've had no luck. I might've misread something earlier, but does he share the same first name with victim's father?

I deleted both posts because my times were wrong, I went back and looked at my texts in my phone (I only get one or two a day) and the one that said "I'm home" wasn't from my friend like i thought it was.

They went there after LE arrived, and to the best of my knowledge, noone (in AB's house) knew EO was missing until LE arrived.

Just FYI, that's not the same initials I have heard. But who knows, maybe she had more than one BF???

I have been gone for a few days and was wondering when they released the facts that she was stabbed and her throat cut? This is such a heartbreaking story...I feel so bad for the family of EO....I can't imagine losing a child like this... My heart also goes out to the GP of AB....they took her into their home and were trying to give her a home and I am sure they loved her but they really didn't know her.

ILC, just wondering if the guardian was present when AB was being questioned....meaning she had to sit there and hear what AB had done. Must have been excrutiating to hear.

Do we even know for sure that LE questioned her Wed. night?

It is my opinion based on what I've been told that she wasn't questioned until friday morning, and I'd bet my bottom dollar that GM was there and got to hear it all. :(

I understand, and it seems very reasonable. The part I just don't get is why AB isn't questioned earlier.

There is no way, with the rain we have had, that you could kill a girl, bury her body (I understand the grave was probably dug beforehand) and make it back in 45 minutes without looking sweaty and dirty. The LE are at her house that evening before she gets a chance to shower, and they don't notice anything that tips them off. The family doesn't question her a little more on a night that a girl disappears. Seems strange.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I didn't mean Wed. night. I don't believe LE talked to her Wed. night and Thurs they couldn't find her until after school, i think. I was just talking about when LE did finally get to question her.

Someone used those on a different forum, saying they saw them on yet another forum, so those initials could definitely be way off.

I think those initials are incorrect. AB doesn't have a facebook friend with those initials.

Got it. I'm 95% sure I misread something to start with, but now I understand that, regardless, that's too close to typing the actual name.

To me, it seems like there was a lot going on in AB's life that the GPs weren't aware of. I'm not blaming them for her actions, but it seems like, because the graves were allegedly dug days before hand, she probably also planned how she was going to avoid raising questions when she returned to the house.
On the main thread, there were posts that mentioned her doing drugs with her boyfriend..if this type of thing was a regular activity for her, it's likely she was used to sneaking around/coming back in the house without making the family suspicious. She probably found some way to clean up without them noticing.

Wonder why it is taking so long to decided if they are going to try her as an adult.

In the case of 4yr old Alex (found in the dryer last week) the perp was 14 yrs old been in custody since friday i think. monday or Tuesday they made the decision to try him as an adult. that was in Cali..come on MO get with the program.

The reason I ran into this story is because the link to it on CNN was something like "Teenager to be tried as an adult in child-killing," so I assumed it was the Elizabeth Olten story. Little did I know, another similar crime was committed this week.
This story is equally, if not even more, disturbing than the Elizabeth Olten story. Seriously, what is compelling teenagers to do this type of thing?
The fact that this crime was in a different state could have something to do with the fact that it took very little time to decide to try him as an adult. I'm sure the states have different systems for dealing with this sort of thing (though I'm not at all familiar with them...).
ALSO, because of the various sexual crimes committed...I don't know, it was probably an easier decision. If you read this story...it's nauseating, the sort of things this 14-year-old did.

All in all, I can barely turn on the news anymore. I'm a journalism major, and I'm having a difficult time accepting that I'll probably have to be reporting on a lot of these stories in a few years. At any rate, the past few weeks have made me seriously depressed with the state of the world. Children are supposed to be innocent and care-free - not murdered and murderers.

Sorry for the long post.

These were country kids, probably spending a great deal of their free time outdoors, with the horses, in the woods, riding ATVs, etc. I know I wouldn't be suspicious if my kids came in dirty after playing outside.

Are people allowed to post rumors yet??? I am a bit confused I have been reading here since day one and it seems as if some are allowed to post rumors and not be in trouble while when others do they get a time out. Others claim they know the family but if you look at all the post some of the post seem to contradict one another... or maybe it just seems that way to me-- I could be wrong.

I live in the Jeff City area and am familiar with all the talk that is going on. First off let me start by saying the weather during the events was nasty, cloudy, rainy, soggy. If/when AB did kill EO there is no way she could have came back to the house without some sort of indication she was in the woods. I also don't think there is any way she could have drug the body (well at least not by herself) so I am going to guess she some how tricked her to somewhere close to the grave. Also if she did have to drag her I really think the dogs would have caught onto the scent but maybe I am wrong about that. The story about the 2 graves has been floating in this area since the day they found EO... and there is more to that if we have a rumor thread.
