Just re-found this article from yesterday. Don't think it's been posted.

"Officer 'Hug-a-🤬🤬🤬🤬' Johnson told them he'd like to talk to them -- in the middle of the street at midnight!" she said.

"Maybe he could find a better place and time? Just a thought"

"As far as IDs for the police -- God help them if they have IDs," she exclaimed. "A badge, sure: Take their name so you can threaten them like you did Darren Wilson and his family? I don't want to see one police officer with a name badge on when he's on the streets in that crazy place."

There is talk of shutting businesses and moving out, residents saying the same.

there's a Faraci's Pizza in Ellisville, too (I've been to this one; yummers)

sounds like the Family sold the Ferguson business in 1998

“If this allegation is true and there is a member of the grand jury who is discussing the case with a Darren Wilson supporters the appropriate thing for the prosecutor to do is impanel a new grand jury,” Crump said in an interview Wednesday night. “If this person is discussing the case outside of the grand jury it is wholly inappropriate. It’s an issue of fairness for Michael Brown’s family.”
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...hooting-is-being-investigated-for-misconduct/

Looks like he did mean "impanel" in the previous quote. But, as covered today by tweets and articles, this grand jury does not need to be excused, even IF one broke the secrecy rule. Per MO statutes, there are procedures for dealing with it, IF it occurred.

And King puffery.

ETA: Looks like reporter got quote wrong.
*should be impanel not "impound" in that quote. Typed too fast*

Do they have alternates?

If they find someone did actually leak info, I wonder if the GJ member is black or white? Just a curiosity on my part :)

Per MO statutes I posted last night, yes.

Here is the secrecy oath grand jurors in MO make:

Do you solemnly swear you will diligently inquire and true presentment make, according to your charge, of all offenses against the laws of the state committed or triable in this county of which you have or can obtain legal evidence; the counsel of your state, your fellows and your own, you shall truly keep secret?

Alternate grand jurors as determined by the judge shall also be selected, to serve as a grand juror upon the death, disqualification, or inability of one of the persons selected as a regular grand juror.

Yup, I've been there too - YUM! I even met the owner, a short, salt/pepper dark haired, mustached Italian guy - really nice. He sat and ate with a few of us one night. It was a slow night lol
Yes, he sold the Ferguson place years ago.

No amount of money thrown at education will help if the parents don't participate. Hands on, educate.

Chief Belmar: “It’s heartbreaking to see a community turn on itself"

Chief Belmar won’t release details about the operational plans, but says he’s planning on a very emotional response regardless of what the grand jury decides. He is going into it with basically the same mindset he says he had on August 10th which is preservation of life. Belmar says while preservation of life is number one, after that he won’t stand by and allow looting or burglaries.

From video:
"There were times in those nights, where I think that I was just expecting something tragic to happen to one of my officers."

"There's A lot of this rhetoric I don't think really assists the people that really matter on the West Florrissant corridor."

Body cameras for all of his officers will cost about $500K over the next 3 years

BREAKING: #Ferguson residents told to "Create an evacuation plan or hunker down"-We will keep you posted as more details emerge. Stay tuned.
(Posted 2 hrs ago. They're saying Devin James advised this.)

As a representative of the City of #Ferguson he confirmed that residents have been notified to create Evac plan or prep to hunker down.

@Rebelutionary_Z asks @GovJayNixon about #Ferguson notice to residents to create evac plan "we are not going to talk about that here".
@argusnewsnow

I wonder if this is just to have a plan for the future, versus today.

I think Devin's supposed to be on a radio show about now. Wonder if they talked about this.
