It seems very calm and no one is in the street. What do y'all think, less than 50?

Is that Keith the camera man is talking to? Isn't he the one that you are suppose to call if you get arrested for protesting?

Is someone playing a drum?

From media thread today

"...Generally, the body cameras are utilized with any interaction with members of the public and in any situation when an officer feels it is necessary, and has the opportunity to activate the camera."

I wonder if LE are using body cameras during these protests, it would be brilliant if they were. Someone in LE is probably videotaping these protests besides the live-streams anyway, jmo.

There they are...yes they do have quite the rhythm don't they? Could we send them on the road?

Also, regarding protests sat night, another injured officer. This is out of hand. How many injured officers is that now? Only one arrested protestor from Ferguson, but all from St Louis area.

Only one of those arrested was from Ferguson; the others were from elsewhere in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Three were from St. Louis, one was from Richmond Heights, one was from Florissant, one was from Bridgeton and one was homeless, he said.

Clearly we're giddy at getting the thread back. Good to post with all of you again.

Sounds more like music festival then a protest. They are having way to much fun.

Lol! Keith did tell us rebz is trying to get some zzs. Wonder where the third one is? I noticed last night they are not very coordinated -taking breaks at the same time. Ahh-back now.

Maybe they do need organizers. We'll harness their talent, channel it into a marching band, send them around the country to perform, saving Ferguson LE, businesses, and scared residents. They'll have so much fun, they'll forget they're angry, and it'll help them move forward.

I wish.

Drums and chanting- "Got my hands on my head, please don't shoot me dead."#Ferguson

One of my personal favorites..

I give it a 10, Dick, because it's got a good beat and you can dance to it.

Seriously, I'm glad we have the thread back too! :happydance:

AND these folks who are making music and chanting? (And Lord forgive me because I know I'm jinxing it): THIS is peaceful protest as it should be.
