It frankly sounds to me that the Feds found enough to warrant an investigation or ran into road blocks.

To give an idea of the climate of the area, it isn't just family attending protests. As I've said, the alderman has been actively part of them. Now, the police are trying to clear the streets and a state senator is now taking part, telling people, if they're going to tear gas us, let them do it in daylight and grabbed a seat in the middle of the street and refuses to leave.

this is what i linked then removed earlier, i dont think it is a complete picture since it does not contain the actual calls of ferguson police, so you dont know what calls the officer on scene made first, you dont know if other claims people are making after hearing these are accurate because there is a large volume of missing radio logs.

but i guess people can listen to it and decide for themselves.

I haven't read all the pages here yet, but has it been discussed yet that the police officer involved actually was physically assaulted? I have read a few places that he was taken to the ER and treated for face and head injuries. Here is one link. This seems to definitely contradict the reports that MB was just peacefully walking in the street minding his own business, IMO.

The officer who shot and killed an unarmed teenager in Ferguson, Missouri was injured in the alleged altercation, according to Ferguson Chief of Police Tom Jackson.

Jackson, who spoke on the phone with News 4's Laura Hettiger Wednesday morning, said the officer "was hit" and the "side of his face was swollen." The chief did not say if the officer suffered any broken bones.

nobody ever denied that there was a physical altercation, injuries could have been caused by incidental contact during the altercation, could have been caused by the door slamming back in his face, or i guess it could be that this kid flipped out and attacked an cop and tried to take his gun... could be.
