Also, this interview was done last night.

His attorney says that DJ has not been called to testify at the grand jury as of yesterday.

Seriously? Is that even possible? If he isn't called, that says hella lot to me!

He has to call himself a victim so he can get paid when the settlements come it.

I believe he is trying to figure out how he can get one of the "fund me" sites. All about the money IMO. I hope the GJ does call him to testify so when he goes there a lies once again he can be charged for it. I still feel that the lies he immediately told after the incident regarding MB shot in the back, and "executed" was the catalyst that began the unrest and subsequent looting. It took days to unwind those statements, meanwhile violence had erupted.

Furthermore this is the first case I recall where all the "witnesses" have at least one attorney. It screams to me that witnesses are being coached.

If he signed a written witness statement, his appearance in person may not be necessary.

Don't they just meet on Wednesdays, last week being the first one hearing evidence on DW/MB?

regarding the gunshots and the video chatter who inadvertently recorded them.

It is not uncommon for gunshots to ring out in my hood, especially in the warmer months when more people are out and about on the streets and tempers more apt to flare more easily. I must admit, if they do not sound close (within an block or two) and as long as I know exactly where my children are at the moment I hear them. I don't even bother to go look anymore.

Since like Boston Marathon real bullets dont sound like tv or movies. These sound like the real ones IMO

Yeah, the shots sounded very real to me too. Not like Hollywood at all.

I didn't watch much of MB's funeral, but there was an older fellow, who looked a lot like Shahid, prancing/dancing in front of the the family. He was wearing a bright orange outfit, including hat, and seemed to be making an intentional spectacle of himself. Dark suited ushers/security tried to herd him away without drawing undue attention, but once he'd "danced" past the family, several of whom's faces he reached out and touched, he seemed to me to be grabbed and forcibly removed.

Here is a photo of Shahid at the funeral, he is to the left of the photo. To Michael Brown Sr's right.

In St. Louis County, a spokesman for McCulloch's office, Ed Magee, said all homicide cases go before a grand jury.

re It just seems like lies are circling all around.

I think the end that in a regular court will be none of it makes sense so we have to throw out all the
witness statements

IMO it will go to trial - it does not matter what the grand concludes or says

LA Times:

If the grand jury decides not to issue an indictment.......... the Justice Department could still file federal charges against him.

I chuckled like the way you wrote it
I always say if someone wants to commit a murder, come out here. No one would even pay any attention to some gunshots.

just a guess pls how many would have to go off before someone noticed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it bleeds, it leads.

The trope "if it bleeds it leads," didn't make the mainstream media cover the Christian-Newsom torture-murder case.

That double murder was nothing short of horrific, and you are right it didn't make the national news.

As far as I'm concerned, Baden needs to retire while he still has some respect and credibility left. He seemed so shaky, confused, and maybe embarassed in that autopsy briefing with his "assistant", that he made me wonder what was going on. And I do wonder what was/is going on with this gratis autopsy.

:cow:
Retire and write a book maybe?

Ok, I understand.

I guess I was trying to say that this latest "relevation" is adding yet another version of the story to the list we already have.

Prior to this, all the versions said that OW backed up. Even the police chief stated this as fact.

Now all of a sudden, someone is saying, well no he never backed up. That actually the boys were blocking his path.

It just seems like lies are circling all around.

JMO The "backing-up" was there to support hearing the BOLO and returning to effect an arrest, I think. But that got murky, probably when the timestamps were published and didn't add up. This latest leak is far more believable, to me. We'll see. JMO

The only person I have seen say that OW backed up was DJ.
If you or anyone has a link to the chief or anyone else saying it, could you please link it for us?

I found DJ's backup claim consistent with the chief's saying that OW realized they fit the BOLO during (not before) the incident, and I don't think this latest information necessarily contradicts a backup, but either way, I want to keep who said what and when straight.

So do we have a link to the chief's saying OW backed up?

The ensuing trials were heavily covered at Websleuths. The case was of considerable interest to people who follow trials. For some reason, the national media professed not to be interested.

I'm unclear on this (didn't read article yet so not sure if addressed)

Is the DOJ investigating regarding civil rights issues? I feel the reporting on what exactly their role is, is confusing. Are they investigating on a criminal basis or civil, or both?

Before I go... Foxfire, gngr, or any others who've been analyzing the car locations...

I'm still curious about the movement of the suv as seen at the beginning of the Brady video.

Was it Wilson's, and how does it influence our cones, measurements, etc.?

Maybe I'm missing something, but that seems important....?

....and what determines "what sounds real" to the average viewer?

Sorry I am visual -- we all agree the type of call in all liklihood was .

Boy that is scary - a gun movie is playing in the background . while soothing words of ones beauty if someone was telling me about beuaty with gun shots going off in the back i think I would hang up and hope they cant tell where I live OR call the cops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ANd boy if it was edited, come on dude, take out the sexy talk and put a docmentary on crime in america in the foreground

I kind of wonder if that is why it took so long to release it hummm some choices to make here!!

Thats funny!............

I am confused. How did this audio get released if it was turned over to the FBI? Nothing official has been released yet.

Still trying to catch up after taking a break yesterday.

THIS! ^^^

Something about this tape smells rotten to me. It is bizarre. Something like this has Crump/Parks written allllllll over it.

I find it almost unbelievable that this recording is authentic due to the fact that this person on the video chat had zero response to the shots whatsoever. I don't care who you are or where you live, when you hear that many gunshots, you SAY something, or react somehow.

This isn't passing my smell test. At all.
